Reviews of Property: Stunning 6 bed villa with pool close to beach and all amenities

We really did have the best time staying at the villa! As you can tell from the photos it is a beautiful villa, but once we got there it look even better! Very clean with everything we needed as well as a very helpfully little book that recommend lots of great thing to do.

The best part had to be beautiful pool and with a great BBQ area, some days there was no need to leave the villa. But when we did the beach & bars were only a 5 min walk away and we had some great evening down at the various bars having a drink and watching the sunset.

This really was one of the best holidays Iv had! The villa is in a great location and the owners were so helpful, I can’t wait to go back!

The villa was stunning, well decorated, clean & tidy and had a fantastic pool. The description provided was spot on and we (a mixed group of friends and I) had an amazing time.

The village was great with bars along the beach front. We had a great time soaking up the sun at the villa and on the beach, where you could do watersports.

A short drive away were some lovely sightseeing attractions which were good if the weather was slightly overcast.

The local restaurants were great, friendly staff and lovely fish dishes, but equally the villa was kitted out for any style cooking.

The people in Foz were friendly and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable.

The booking of the villa was easy and hassle-free and the owners accommodating and helpful (providing information on travel, distances and tourist information).

I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone!

Had the most amazing time in this wonderful villa. The pictures just dont do it enough justice. Very spacious inside and out, very clean. The location was perfect for the local bars, restuarants and the stunning lagoon and beach. The pool was fantastic and had so much use. The service from the owners was first class. They were so helpful before we had even left to go holiday, and gave very helpful information about the location from the airport, and the attractions/places to visit. Foz itself, is a beautiful place with a traditional portuguese feel, and i highly recommend it. The BBQ was superb aswell and got plenty of use. Thanks Kathryn and Keith for helping make it such a wonderful holiday for Me, Soph and our dearest friends.

This was an excellent villa with plenty of space and a fabulous pool in private gardens. We were a group of 3 families with 6 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 16 to 18. The beach was spectacular and everything was within walking distance including excellent local shops for all the food you need, a lovely patisserie and very friendly locals with excellent english. The facilities at the villa were also excellent with barbeques, washing machines, dish washers, etc. Obidos was well worth a visit.

We were 2 families of four with children in their early teens and two couples. The set up of this villa was perfect for us with privacy and ensuite for the couples and a family bathroom each for the others. The children loved the large pool. There's a village by-pass road at the top of the hill which allows access to three large supermakets in nearby Caldas in around 10 minutes. It also has a popular 5k measured running/walking area running alongside it. The villagers are very friendly and the bars/restaurants good value for money. The beach offers breakers for body boarding on one side and a calm lagoon on the other. We had a fantastic couple of weeks.

Renting was easy. Everything from early requests and corresponding to deposit return was friendly and prompt. Also help of local estate office was professional, friendly and handled with good English. We spent nine nice days in this handsome villa that was lately rebuild. The two separate apartments were very comfortable and well equipped and suited well for two families. The air ventilation of the lower apartment could have been better. The pool was big enough and the garden nice and private. The neighborhood was calm and modest with all that was needed in walking distance. The lagoon and the sea offered amazing details for kids. A car was needed for further trips and sightseeing. Restaurants with good food and reasonable prices were easy to find. We enjoyed ourselves and left home with nice souvenirs from local artisan offering.

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful villa, it was set a perfect location to walk into the village and down to the amazing lagoon. It was winter and the weather was cold but sunny and we sat and watched the white horses (waves) that were the biggest and best we have ever seen. Lovely cafes and restaurants, NYE was an experience, celebrating with the locals. I would highly recommend this holiday villa and location to families or groups. Accommodation could not have been better, many thanks
