Amazing time!!!

Review Submitted: September 11, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Me and my 2 friends are aged 21 - 22 and Yucca Park was perfect for us, we didnt want a crazy holiday and Costa Adeje/Fanabe is perfect for that. Upon arriving at Yucca Park we were able to meet with the owners Keith and Gwenyth and also met Tracey and her family (thanks for the drinks!!) They were lovely people and wished us a fanatasic time. Yucca Park is a really friendly place and Colin at the poolside bar is a great host.

The apartment is fabulous...so spacious...you will be suprised when you get inside just how big it is. Its so clean and is certainly worth the money we paid!

You are a short stroll from some great places to eat. There are some great bars along the the beach. We defo suggest The First and Last!! If you wanted a crazy night out Playa is not far at all.

Lastly thanks again Tracey and Family for a fab holiday and making us feel so at ease and welcome. The organisation of the holiday was stress free. We are planning to return again this Summer :)

My stay at Yucca Park in July 2009

Review Submitted: August 7, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My boyfriend and I have recently returned from a two weeks stay at this apartment in Costa Adeje (we are 22 and 24). Tracey (the daughter) was very helpful and quick to respond to e-mails during the process of booking. She also allowed us to get early access to the apartment due to our flight times which was great. It only took us around 15 mins in the taxi. We arrived at lunch time and the weather was fantastic. We only had one cloudy day out of 14. The complex is very well maintained and the pool was lovely and quiet. There was one day when we struggled to get a sunbed, but new parasols and sunbeds arrived during the second week of our stay which ensured there was enough to go round. The pool-side bar was handy for lunch - they serve great toasties, baked potatoes and homemade burgers. The apartment was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It is tucked away at the side of the complex overlooking the hotel next door (the only downside was that the entertainment from the hotel was quite loud at night, but it stopped around 11). There was no air conditioning in the apartment so it was very hot, but there were ample standing fans which we had to keep on all night. The bathroom and the shower room were finished to a high standard and our towels were changed one a week.
The location of the apartment was perfect. The beach was just across the road and there are a number of supermarkets within walking distance. We discovered a 'Mango' outlet store which had great clothes at a fraction of the price (they were past season seemingly!). We preferred to venture along to the right along the coast. There is an open air shopping arena here with lots of expensive jewellery shops, but it has a lovely Italian restaurant on the top level and a nice cocktail bar called the 'Ambar Lounge.' You come to another beach which is a blue flag and is mostly used by the locals. The restaurants are a little more expensive at this end due to the 5 star hotels, but the views are great and the food is faultless. We went to 'La Nonna's' a couple of times. Also there are no street sellers to bother you here so you can relax and stroll along the beach side!
I felt very safe and secure within the complex and it was great to return to such a lovely apartment each night. We even watched some tv which I didn't think we would.
All in all, the apartment is clean and well furnished and has a great location - the taxi rank is right outside the entrance when it's time to leave!

Holiday at Yucca Park July 2009

I have just returned from our holiday staying at Yucca Park. We found the standard of the apartment excellant with everything we needed at hand. The position of Yucca Park is brilliant with everything close by yet it is lovely and quiet at the complex. No matter what time we got up there were sun beds at the pool and the beach is just a 5 minute stroll away. We had a day out at Siam park which we recommend, was expensive but we felt we got our moneys worth. My daughter lives and works in Adeje and now I know why, I cant wait to come back! Thankyou.

Fab apartment near to beach and all anemities

Review Submitted: May 19, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
My partner, son and I have just returned from a 2 week stay in 119. The apartment is beautifully furnished with all you could need for your stay, including british tv and a dvd player - great for keeping kids occupied!

The apartment was more than big enough for all of us to have our own space and the downstairs terrace was fab for breakfast - the upstairs one balcony great for chilling out with a bottle of wine -you get the sun on both balconies for most of the evening too!

The bathrooms and kitchen are immaculate and there was more than sufficient towels, bedding and kitchen crockery and utensils to make a self catering stay easy.

Communication with the owners and their daughter has been excellent ever since we first booked the apartment last year and information is also provided in the apartment re contact with management companies and the owners should you need to contact them during your stay.

Yucca Park is really clean and well maintained and only a five minue walk max from the beach and local bars and restaurants. The pool is really clean too.

I would highly recommend Siam Park for a day out and also the Monkey Park, near Los Cristianos - you get to feed the monkeys and various reptiles and can go into their cages with them - brilliant fun!

We have holidayed in Tenerife for the past 14 years and have stayed in a number of apartments and hotels in the Fanabe area over this time - we prefer to stay self catering so that we can please ourselves what we do and when we do it and we can honestly say this is the best place we have stayed at, not just because of the fab apartment but also because of its central location to Fanabe and the beach (and all our favourite bars and friends out there!) - we will be back in August and again next year! Many thanks for a great stay - just 13 weeks and counting till the next one!

Apartment 119 Yucca Park July 2008

Review Submitted: August 5, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
The Yucca Park is a good base for a family holiday !

We arrived at night and first impressions of the complex weren't that favorable due to the some of the exterior lights which should illuminate the little walkways to the apartments not working. ( These were fixed the next night but did fail a couple of more times during our stay)
However, once we were in the apartment that impression changed. It is suprisingly spacious and very well appointed. It has been refurbished recently and every thing has been done to a high standard. Nice touches are, modern kitchen area, upstair and downstairs toilet / showers, loads of coat hangers and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, roof fans upstairs and downstairs and two extra free standing fans ( these were a Godsend !) a modern iron and board , balcony area upstairs and sitting out area on the ground floor.
The complex was quite quiet when we arrived (late July 08) but got steadily busier during our stay.
On the down side the compex could do with some new poolside equipment ie parasols ! Also the odd lick of paint here and there. The pool attendants could be a litte over zealous enforcing the no' inflatables rules' even with small children when the pool was virually empty.
On the plus side, we met a lot of very nice people. Some were owners and some just on holiday. Most were families and there was a relaxed friendly atmosphere around the place.
The complex bar / restaurant is run by Kirk who is a font of knowledge and very helpful. The pool itself is ideal for families with well defined areas for non swimmers, kiddies and deeper areas for those that want to jump, dive and mess about.
When we booked I dealt with the owners daughter Tracey, who was very helpful and answered all emails / queries promptly. As our flight home was an evening flight Tracey agreed to let us stay past the normal time to vacate. Much appreciated !
My overall impresssion of the complex is that its 'on the up' and as more of the units become privately owned the little problems that exist at the moment will be solved pretty easily. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a family holiday !

Excellent clean fresh accomodation, well maintained. Nicely situated, in a frendly complex, lovely pool area with friendly bar. Good locaton for shops and beach. Easy reach of the night life but has the added attraction of being quiet at night. Sleeps 5 comfortably, 2 nicely furnished bathrooms, giving extra privacy. Good size kitchen. Will suit families with children and couples who enjoy plenty of space. We were 2 couples one with 11year old, who shared the upstairs with mum and dad. we had ample privacy and space. Both upstairs and down stairs had a spacious balcony, with patio furniture. We highly recommened, and we would book this above anything else in this area. Excellent value for money.

May Bank Holiday at Yucca Park

Shrews Shrewsbury, England
Review Submitted: June 2, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
Joanna and I arrived in Tenerife on a Friday at 10:00 after a 20 minute taxi ride we arrived at what was to be our residence for the forthcoming week. After a bit of banter and the quickest check-in known, the gentlemen in reception pointed us in the direction of the beautifully appointed deluxe apartment.
One clean turn of the key and we were in. Clean, contemporary, modern and slightly spanish themed are noted first impressions. A small but friendly and convenient kitchen was straight in front of us. Adjoining breakfast bar to suit (many bowls of fruit or sausage sandwiches were enjoyed). Turning our head to the right was the Dining room. A vibrant orange sofa and chairs laid beautifully in-front of the English showing TV (it is nice to leave England at home, but still nice to know whats going on). Looking past the comfortable residing area was the patio with fitting tables and chairs, we both knew that many a bottle of pinot grigio would be sampled here.

A short walk up a slightly spiraled staircase and you were in the bedroom. 2 Single beds were the first objects to shine out. As a couple we thought ok, can they be pushed together? This of course was no problem. After a couple of nights in the Tenerife sun, you could see why the owners opted for 2 separate beds!

The en-suite bathroom was fantastic, having the option of jumping out of bed into the shower was heaven. Well to someone who does not have the luxury of an en-suite at home it was.

Like downstairs, upstairs also had a patio/balcony which was 1) Great for having a glass of wine whilst watching the tenerife sun go down and 2) Hanging the wet towels out from a day at the beach!!

Tenerife for us give off to simple vibes. If you were interested in keeping it British, pint of Carling and a Sunday roast head left and straight to the beach within a 2 minute walk. Or like us, when away we like some of the 'nicer things' in life and try to walk the other side of the pavement if we see a rather lubricated Brit - go right, and head down to beautiful restaurants, wine bars, themed spanish singing, and stunning sun-set photographs. As you can imagine most nights were based around here (apart from the night in Americas, which is another story).

To sum up Tenerife has a lot to offer, and can be tailored to suit every walk of life's request. Yucca Park combines these requests and offers a truly fantastic place to stay, right in the hub of Tenerife's beaches and night life.

Our family stayed here in April and It lived up to my expectations.
The apartment was just refurbished when we arrived and was very clean and professionally run, We have stayed at Yucca park on numourous occasions but this was the best apartment we have stopped at.

I would recommend anyone who wants a good relaxing holiday to try it.

I met the owners when we were there and could tell from speaking to them they were genuine people who want the best for there clients

We have booked again for October and normally go twice a year its that good.

Great introduction to the Canaries - we'll be back

We had an excellent week in the apartment, with really good weather to match. We sunbathed and swam at Yucca Park, and also toured the island, visiting Teide, La Orotava (lovely old town), Santa Cruz and Los Gigantes, as well as going on a day trip to beautiful La Gomera. It's worth hiring a car if you want to experience the variety offered by Tenerife. If you're happy staying put, then you could easily manage here without a car and book excursions. There are taxis to the left outside the complex. Parking is a problem locally, but we booked a week in an underground car park virtually on the doorstep for less than 4 euros a day, well worth it: Urbanizacion Playa Fanabe S.A. PARKING Centro Comercial Fanabe 1-Adeje.

The apartment was excellent, with plenty of space for the two of us. We found it extremely comfortable, clean and well-maintained, and also well placed on the complex (quite peaceful since away from the bar area, but close to the pool, which was larger than we thought). We self-catered for half the time and, though small, the kitchen was fine with a hob and a full size oven. There is no longer a supermarket on site, but Netto is a very short walk up the road and supplies most needs, though not a particularly good choice for fruit and vegetables.

Playa del Duque, a 15 minutes walk away (turning right outside the complex), has some really relaxing and peaceful spots, including a great bar with armchairs, sofas and beds outside - a fantastic place to sit in and people watch! We ate locally in Little Italy Capri (OK but not amazing), on the way down to Fanabe beach, and then discovered Bianco del Plaza in Plaza del Duque (Pasta Maurizio was a good fresh veggie option). It was better food with little difference in price. However, there are many different eateries and bars to explore, all within easy walking distance.

There was a mixture of ages at Yucca Park with plenty of families and a lively atmosphere. When booking, we had wondered whether the complex would be noisy and full of partygoers, due to Fanabe's proximity to Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas, but were pleasantly surprised to find this was not the case. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and plan to return some time. We will certainly recommend this apartment.
