Reviews of Property: 3 Bed Villa 'MICKEY1' with private pool, Greek hospitality,FREE airport transfer

My husband and I, our 3 year old daughter and 2 friends have just returned from 2 weeks staying in Pernera at Nikos' villa and I just had to write a review to highly recommend this villa to others.We booked our summer holiday in Cyprus as our friends were getting married in a hotel in Protaras.We didn't want to be in the centre of Protaras and therefore chose Pernera which is a 20 minute walk from Protaras and an excellent choice. Pernera has a good selection of bars and restaurants (Mojito being by far the best)and yet the resort is right next door to Protaras just a walk along a new beach front walk that takes you along the coast and into Protaras. The explanation of the villa is exactly what you will get, the hospitality received from Nikos the owner was greatly appreciated.We arrived in the evening,very tired after travelling,and Nikos had a meal for us with dessert,some beers and all the basics you need.We were so pleased and it was a great touch.The villa is immaculate,perfect spot,large pool and outdoor area,bikes,floats,childrens toys and play house all at the villa.2 bbq's, gas and coal. Spent a lot of time bbq'ing.Shopped at Orphanides in Parlimni which is much cheaper than the local small shops.The villa was so good it made us lazy as we found after a day round the pool,we didn't want to go out and bbq'd instead,perfect if you have small children that you prefer to have in bed asleep rather than in a buggy in a restaurant somewhere! The maintenance man Martin is English and was very accommodating,just at the end of the phone should you need taking to go to the supermarket or to a beach a bit further afield,very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this villa to all types of holiday makers,it easily sleeps 6/7 people,very spacious,modern and clean.
Overall,excellent holiday and a place that we will definitely return to in the very near future.

Feb09. We had a lovely time at Nikos' villa. Brand new villa, great space inside and out for our two small Children. Bikes and toys available, fantastic pool. Protarus has lovely beaches and surrounding areas. Villa in central location for these. Nikos' hospitality and generousity made our stay, airport transfer, welcome pack and delicious lunch made by his mother in law made us feel welcome and at home which is a must when travelling with children. Will be back!

Nikos' villa was absolutely perfect, gorgeous large pool which we spent quite a bit of time in. The villa itself is furnished to a very high standard with air conditioning throughout which was definately needed. Plenty of outdoor toys etc and the b-b-q was a very nice additional touch. We received a welcome pack when we arrived wich was appreciated.
We would definately come back and stay at the same place.

This villa is fantastic, we had the most amazing time. Lovely pool, cleaned everyday by the pool man. Great living space and so comfortable our two year old didn't want to come home! Lots of toys and pool toys to play with. Great having the bikes to go off exploring on, easy to ride to Protaras.
So relaxing we hardly went out and we used the BBQ most days.
Great hospitality by the owner - we couldn't have felt more looked after.
You will not be disappointed! We will defintely book again.

my family spent to weeks at the villa mickey 1 in august.
i cannot fault the villa or nicos who was extremley kind and considerate. the fact that he was on the end of a phone whenever we needed him was a great touch. the villa itself has 3 good sized bedrooms and the downstairs living area is a delight. the air con is superb and was needed most days due to the hot weather ( not cmplaining ) pool was beautiful. there are good supermarkets nearby and having a bbq by the pool is an excellent way to spend an evening. there is a good selection of bars etc nearby and protaris is only a short walk away. we hired a car and visited some spectacular beaches which were excellent for snorkelling and swimming. to sum up this is a superb villa in an excellent location with a very hospitable host

Spent a fantastic 2 week holiday at this villa. Nikos is an excellent & generous host and has thought of everything a family needs on holiday. The villa is immaculate, bright, spacious, has excellent air conditioning and in a great location mins from the beach, restaurants, bars etc. The pool was also checked & cleaned very regularly. It was all the extra little touches such as the welcome pack of food & drinks, toys for the kids, bikes and gorgeous greek pastries that made our stay at the villa both very memorable and pleasurable. Have visited Pernera many times & stayed in various hotels/apts but would def. return to this villa. Recommend local restaurant La Cultura del Gusto (opposite Seagull apts) - best to book a table for Fri/Sat night.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday which was fantasic,the villa was excellent .Furnished to a very high standard,the pool and the outside furrniture were lovely,relaxing and very clean.The villa was in a very good location,near to all the bars,resturants,shops and beach and a lovely walk into Protaras.
Nicos was an excellent host who catered for all our needs including our 6month old grandchild,we requested a highchair, travel cot and sterlizer which was there when we arrived.Nicos met and greeted us on our arrival showed us around the villa excellant customer service.We Have already reccommended your Villas to all our family and friends.

Just returned from a fantasic weeks holiday at the villa. It contained everything mentioned on the description and more. The villa is new, furnished to an excellent standard and extremely clean and well kept. The pool was great fun and much needed during the hot days.
Protaras was only a 15 minute walk away with good shops and night life, although there were shops and supermarkets just around the corner from the villa. Agia Napa was a short bus ride away or taxi's were freely available and cheap to use. Nikos was extremely welcoming and friendly and made our stay comfortable and relaxed.
We had five teenagers with us and they loved the area and enjoyed the nightlife.
We would highly recommend this villa and hope to return next year. Sue, Richard and Co.
