There is one word for chalet liane and that is WOW!!
I took my family and in-laws (party of nine) from Bristol UK for xmas as soon as we seen the place i loved it easy to find better than any description or photos of the chalet and the veiws there was nothing better then coming back from the slops to a clean well maintained cabin with a log fire for a hot chocolate as you looked out over nendaz as the sun set behind it.the kids loved playing in the snow as well as grandad! and just a short drive to town were the pubs shops supermarkets provide all you need and even open xmas day.
highly recommend we have to go again!!

A superb chalet in a superb location (5 mins drive to the skiing). I would recommend this chalet to a family or group. It has all amenities and is well maintained. The skiing area is excellent.

Great Holiday at Chalet Liane

Expats living in Holland Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Review Submitted: March 17, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
As we drove to Haute Nendaz, we were thrilled with the views of the snow covered mountains as well as landscape. Chalet Liane sits in a convenient location to the slopes, shops and motorway, but yet, it has the feel of being a bit secluded. Our children were thrilled with playing outside of the house in the snow. The accomodations worked out great for our party of nine. I would say the only "disappointment" was working with only 20 minutes of hot water at a go. When we came home from skiing, we all felt like taking a nice hot shower, but we realized we couldn't, so we had to plan our showers and baths during the mornings and evenings. The house had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time in Switzerland! Many thanks!

Owner's Response: Really pleased that these guys enjoyed the chalet. With regards to the boiler we ordered a new one to triple the hot water capacity last October. Unfortunately the local plumber has let us down. He guarantees that it will be installed before the start of the summer season 2009.

Great chalet for the overall mountain experience

Staying in Chalet liane was a delight. It was easy to find (thanks to easy to follow driving instructions and a clearly labelled map). The chalet had everything you needed for a week in the snow. We were a group of 7 with 3 small children and it was ample big enough for the kids to spread their toys out and enjoy themselves . The beds were comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectactular. We had a fantastic week skiing. The drive to each area was easy and the roads were well cleared after each snow fall. We skiied in all areas on the Printze pass, driving to the base of each area rather than trying to ski across between them all. All areas had lots of variety, and thanks to a massive snow dump mid-week, we got to enjoy powder conditions from the last two days. One recommendation, if driving to Siviez, make sure you get to the carpark by no later than 8.45am as you might find you have to park down the road. Alternatively use the ski bus.

Our Stay at the Chalet Liane was memerable. The views were awsome, the Chalet was excellant. Never had an issue. We picked up the key around 5pm and 5 minutes away is where the Chalet is situated. The weather was perfect. We only had one day of rain but that was also very entertaining as the light show fronm the lighting was quite impressive. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone. Well done.

A great location to get away from it all

Review Submitted: April 25, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
A lovely chalet in a perfect location to get away from the hectic 9 to 5. Isolated enough to get away from it all and enjoy the piece and quiet and the great views, but close enough to town (Nendaz) to enjoy lots of bars and restaurants. I walked into Nendaz and it took me 40 minutes (uphill) on the way there and 30 on the way back. A great walk, away from the main roads.
The chalet is lovely and light, with a great fire place and plenty of seating. A great place to relax at the end of the day. I stayed for a long weekend with 6 other guys and there was plenty of space for all of us.

Great skiing holiday

Review Submitted: April 16, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
The week was really good, we along with the children all had a great time and the chalet managed us all perfectly. We found it without difficulty. The chalet was well equipped, spacious and with comfortable beds. Would advise booking kids into ski school in Siviez (rather than Nendaz) as there is more opportunity for parents to ski further afield within the ski school lessons before returning to pick them up. Having said that Nendaz ski school were superb. We hired skis and boots from Intersport Mariethoz in Nendaz - no problems there. Advise you either drive there or hire a car when there as it is very useful. We would definitely come here again and base ourselves at Chalet Liane!

ARC's Review

ARC Rugby, UK
Review Submitted: February 20, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
Outstanding views!, comfortable beds and plenty of space for 2 families (4 adults & 4 kids) I was a bit puzzled by the front door lock at first (you must take the key out horizontally)
Nendaz was great for shopping etc - good supermarket at the top of the village near the pharmacy. Siviez was very good and we ate at Restaurant Caroline most days. The Siviez ski school was great for the kids - next time we will hire skiis from Gaby sports in Siviez rather than Gaby sports Nendaz. Overall - a fantastic holiday.
Many thanks!
