Reviews of Property: Santa Marinha Apart.Located in S.Vicente - Alfama -

My Wife and I, with our son and daughter stayed in the Apart. while visiting family in Lisbon. The Apart. is very clean, comfortable and it has got all the facilities needed for a family of four, or a small group. It has an old fashioned feeling with modern fittings. there is a small bathtub, but we only used the shower. It is well situated in a quiet area of Old Lisbon, and most tourist attractions can be reached within walking distance from the Apart. but if you don't fancy walking down or up the hill, transport is very accessible, quite frequent and cheap. We recommend you buy the "Tres Esquinas" card, which you can use as many times you want in all TRAMS, BUSES, METRO and ELEVATORS
(tourist attractions ), throughout the whole city. It costs 50cents and you can top it up for a 24rh period, for just 3.70Euros.
There are plenty of restaurants small shops and cafes near the Apart. and if you are around on a Tuesday or Saturday, go down to the street market just by the Church, you might find an old and interesting genuine gift there.
After a long and pleasant day/night out, it's nice to come back to the Apart. and relax with a glass of port wine, courtesy of the owners.

Je voulais vous dire que nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Lisbonne. Votre appartement est très bien situé, très agréable et très commode pour les visites. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Peut-être reviendrons nous une autre fois.

Great Value. Our Santa Marinha Apartment was well located close to all the sights, restaurants and Fado bars of the Alfama district. It was also very close to the famous "Number 28" tram that winds its way down the hill to central Lisboa. Paula was very helpful with local information and very flexible with regard to our booking, which helped a great deal as we were traveling with three young children. The apartment itself was very good value with a spacious kitchen and two large comfortable bedrooms. If this is your first visit to Lisboa, then plan to stay longer - we wish we had!

We found the apartment very convenient and true to its description. We particularly enjoyed the feeling of staying among the locals but still close to the centre of town and the tourist spots. Mrs Paula was very helpful and presented the property in spotless condition for our week in Lisbon. The Graca area is very hilly but well served by the No. 28 tram. There are ample shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

No kidding, our stay in your brand new apartment was very pleasant.
The location is very convenient. Quiet, close to great monuments and other areas were easy to reach by walk.

Beste Ausstattung, sehr zentral. Wir haben ein sehr schönes verlängertes Wochenende in Lissabon verbracht. Tipp: Besser ohne Auto.
