Loved the location, right beside the bus which is only 3 stops to Oftbahnhof, perfect for trips to town and further.
Very clean, nicely decorated, very quiet, very safe, reasonably priced especially for large groups, would suggest that each person staying receives 2 towels instead of 1 though.
Owner was very accomodating and helpful.
Would go back to it in a heartbeat.

The place is as good as advertised. The location is pretty solid, in an upscale neighborhood with several good eating options, and the subway is a two minute stroll from the front door. Inside its very clean and modern with all the amenties you could want, full kitchen, wifi, flat screen, hair dryer, etc. Also, Alex seems like a very nice and honest guy to deal with.

Four little things kept it from being "excellent." One, the bed is really two seperate beds with a little space between, which is great if you want two beds, but we did not. Two, the walls are a bit thin between this apartment and the Miami, so we could here our neighbors kids. Thirdly, there was a bit of contstruction going on in the courtyard, which was noisy during the day, but we were mostly out anyway. Finally, although the subway is right outside and goes all over the city, you have to change trains to get to and from the main square. Walking into town is cool once or twice, but gets a bit tiring. You can train in a few stops then walk down to city center, which is what we often did, but sore feet plus bags of shopping made us lazy and the added switching got to be a pain. (Am I nit-picking? All places are going to have issues and these are minor. Just a heads-up.)

All and all I doubt you'll find a better place at a better price. Walking around we saw few hotels in central locations and Alex is straight up, very honest, and even let us check out late. Go for it!

Stayed at Alex Prinzregentenplatz. Lovely basement flat with easy access. Nice quiet neighbourhood but plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely and clean, well equipped kitchen, large TV, powerful and hot shower. Would definitely stay again - particularly as it came with bicycle rental included. Only minus point was lack of a radio/CD player in the kitchen, but I am sure the very friendly and helpful owner might address this. Thanks Alex!

Einziges kleines Problem: Man kann die Zimmer nachts nicht vollständig verdunkeln.

Wir hatten mit unseren drei Kids lange nach einer geeigneten Unterkunft gesucht und haben wirklich eine gute Wahl getroffen. Trotz der zentralen Lage am Prinzregentenplatz (U-Bahn-Station quasi vor der Tür, Isaranlagen ganz in der Nähe), ist die Wohnung mega-ruhig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had been looking for an adequate flat for our three kids and the two us and were lucky to find this apartment. It is located in the beautiful area of Bogenhausen (tube station in front of the house and the river Isar nearby), but extremely quiet nonetheless. We'll be back for sure!

We stayed May 6th - May 27th 2009. The location is great and the subway is just on the otherside of the building. Neighborhood is very quiet. The apartment was clean and neat. We enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants and cafe's and found more stores/shops then we knew about on our last day there. We rode the bikes to Englisher Garten a couple of times. It was unusually warm for May, but because the apartment was in the basement, we were fine with the windows open. Alex and his wife were very nice and helpful. Maps and information were available in the apartment. We used the apt as our base and took day trips and a couple of overnight trips out of Munich.

My wife and I stayed at the Havana apartment in June 2008 for 4 days. What a great location - quiet but in close proximity to the city central and local restaurants.

Apartment, although small, was very comfortable and quiet. Walking distance to the city and Englisch Gardens(better by bicycle) and very close to trains and buses.
We loved it.
