Lovely relaxing holiday due to the fact that everything was as promised in the apartment and more, even down to a sharp knife for slicing bread and salad an item woefully lacking in some self catering we have experienced, Discovered the local bus which saves the legs on the hills a number 121 goes everywhere from just at the back of the block and the pool was absolute heaven. We arrived by train simplicity itself and discovered Paloma Park with ducks peacocks etc which is free and then "Selwo" the dolphin and bird park next door absolutely magical and well worth the 17 euros entrance fee. It was nice to come back to a comfortable clean and well stocked abode after a days exploring. I have already recommended it to work colleagues and Mary the owner was extremely helpful and offers good service and value for money a rare thing in this day and age. Thanks once again. Had a reaaly good holiday. The apartment was just as described. Perfect for everything. Bus just stop round the corner. Train station just up the road. Marys information pack was great too. All in all a really good holiday. Looking forward to going back next year. Thanks Mary.

Everything We Were Told It Would Be!

The flat was everything we were told it would be and absolutely ideal for our needs. It is situated in a lovely area with excellent local amenities such as supermarkets, bars, restaurants. There is also a park for the children just across the road. It is a short walk the main tourist shopping area and beach. A short distance from the beach is a Sealife Centre and a beautiful Marina where you can book boat trips. The local bus service was second to none, and cheap, and enabled us to get around very easily. We met ex pats and have become firm friends with one couple who have moved out here and are definitely going to stay in touch.
The Owner provided us with lots of information before we went and has lots of information in the flat containing ideas for outings and things to do. We have only been home 5 days and we can't wait to go back!

Honest apartment from an honest owner

apartment found to be as per description, owner found to be a very honest lady, who gave lots of accurate info
Centrally located to everything, Bonanza square is just a short walk away as are two supermarkets.
The walk with cases and was doable from the train station(although a bit of a drinks break was required on the way home as its uphill - as it was scorching)
It was very very hot in July and the apartment doesnt have aircon, but the owner has a large fan which came in useful for the nights, you can rent further fans in the resort if required
We had a great stay, and no hesitation in recommending this apartment to our families

I really do try hard to please everyone as it is usually only once a year you go on holiday and you want everything to be right.
I would not wheel cases up to thestation a taxi would be about 5 euros.

A place to relax and enjoy

We had a very good stay in the apartment, a central place in Arroyo, still very peaceful. The very kind owner had given us very useful information about the place and places of interest to visit. We hired a car and saw beautiful interesting places, Gibraltar,Ronda, Nerja and many more. We went up with cablecar and saw a birdshow we never had experienced before. A good local place to eat, was Bar Tobalola;much good food,not expensive. A great place, a great apartment a great "landlady"/ owner ! We thank You for Your hospitality.

My wife and I spent the month of January in this apartment and could not fault it i could spend a great deal of time teling you about the closeness to shops public transport and many other things but I will say only one thing please give it a try I know that you will not be disapointed we enjoyed every minute we were there and would recomend it to anyone Thanks for the use of your property

Benalmadena Park for Animal Lovers

Highly recommended.Take bread for peacocks,chickens,ducks,rabbits - some will feed from your hand.Look out for terrapins on island.Recommend crocodile park in Torremolinos (especially out of season.)
Mary has also suppled a very good library. I have just discovered Ken Follet. A brilliant read - thank you very much. Sea World near the Marina - is well worth a visit.Thank you Mary for a throughly enjoyable holiday.We have made a lot of friends. Met up with some ex-pats in some coffee bars who told us about living in Spain - very intreasting. We very much appreciated being met at the airport by Mary's colleague.It helped us settle in straight away.

Very nice apt, has every thing you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal situated for shops and bars,plenty of bars with good reasonable priced meals and found a few bars Selling A pint of beer ONE EURO & LARGE WINE SPRITZWER same price cant go wrong at that A.Had a few good nights for 10 Euros. Very nice area & close to the beach. All in all A good place to be. Thank you Mary we will be returning in the near future. JEAN & DAVE

This apartment shines by its position (near EVERYTHING),
iT is extremely affordable, clean and very well equipped near all kinds of local cheap transport.
Meals out are very affordable in the area and the Marina is wonderful for shops, boat trips, and restaurants.
It is also a wonderful area for walking and sight seeing
I would definitely recommend this flat to friends and hope to be back later in the year myself.
Local bars and night clubs abound and you are spoilt for choice.
Lovely pool/garden to relax in and balcony is wonderful for people watching and sipping cold drinks
The owner will help you to save money with her tips and helpfulness- nothing is too much trouble for her.

Just Waiting for Next Time

I have stayed in this apartment before and each time I visit I just do not want to return home. It is within easy reach of the Beach and Marina and is surrounded by fabulous restaurants, cafes, shops,and bars. I spent some days relaxing on the beach and other days travelling to other areas using local buses and trains.
When the sun goes down there are nightclubs within 5 minutes walking distance which showcase the 'Best Live Acts on the Coast'
The apartment has a well fitted with kitchen with excellent catering facilites and a beautiful bathroom. The lounge and balcony are south facing so that we still enjoyed the sun during breakfast and whilst we sipped cocktails before dinner.
It was a perfect holiday.
