Excellent Family Accomodation

Review Submitted: September 1, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We found this to be excellent family accomodation with 8 adults and 1 child in the property in never seemed cramped. Having 4 bathrooms made life much easier. The kitchen had everything you would have at home and the pool area was excellent and totally un overlooked. There is a large supermarked at Gemozac, only a 5 minute drive away and the beaches are around 30 minutes away. The drive from Calais was easy and motorway almost the entire way. If you have a sat nav it will probably try and take you via Paris, I would avoid going that way as I think it would add alot of time to your journey. We hope to go back again next year.

Fantastic

Fantastic! We were 3 couples staying in the villa, and it was absolutely perfect for us. So perfect in fact, that we pretty much stayed in the villa for a whole week, apart from going out to buy food! The kitchen and dining areas are so good that we cooked huge bbqs every night (though it is only a short drive away to restaurants etc). The location is also really picturesque and peaceful, and the bikes at the villa were used on a regular basis.

The villa is really homely and refurbished to such a good standard. It has a really sociable layout, but also has places to go and read a book in peace. I actually don't think the photos on the website do it justice!

I was even deliberating whether to comment so positively about this property, incase is gets too popular, and it's not free for us to go again...!

Perfect location for a family holiday

Review Submitted: August 24, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This was the perfect location for a family holiday with our first grandchild. Everyone was delighted with the house which is very tastefully decorated and the pool area is fantastic. We really enjoyed the peaceful location. it was also close enough to the lovely beaches in the Royan area and also many interesting towns. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday and would highly recommend the property.
Although the pizza restaurant in Gemozac initially did not look very exciting we decided to try it out and were very impressed with the food - great pizzas. So much so that we booked for another evening.

Wonderful place to stay

3 Roussillon provided the perfect place for a late summer holiday for 6 people ranging from 61 to 1.
The house has been beautifully restored and furnished to a high standard in all rooms.
The outside area provides a very private area for eating, swimming or just relaxing.
The area provides a mix of opportunity from beaches to roman ruins to cognac distilleries. Bordeaux and La Rochelle are within 1 to 11/4 hours driving for those wishing to explore a little further. The mini golf at St Georges is so bad that it is great - you have to try it if only to meet the owner!
The zoo at La Palmyre is a very good day out but don't expect great French food - one of the few places where we have experienced this.
Dealing with the owners was straightforward and the local lady was very helpful on our arrival. The property was very clean.
One to be recommended

The Perfect Holiday

Review Submitted: September 13, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We had a wonderful holiday in this property. Although it was not advertised as fully wheelchair accessible, I was able to manage very well. It was clean and very well maintained and the pool was a real luxury. We had complete privacy in peaceful surroundings but were only minutes from all amenities and places to visit, vineyards, seaside, etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and we ourselves hope to return next year for us it was the perfect holiday location.

A lovely house in a beautiful location. Well equipped in every aspect, with plenty of space for the number of occupants and made even better with a super pool.

A great place to spend a comfortable relaxing holiday. We would certainly go again.
