Stayed here with my wife and our 18month old toddler. The rental agency were very helpful, and a cot for the child was provided as requested. The apartment itself was excellent - clean and spacious. We went to the baker shop on the corner every morning to get crosisants in for breakfast. And the supermarket accross the road was useful. We ate out in the nearby area several nights and were not short of options. Very hand for the Metro also just accross the road to get around Paris. 4 flights of stairs were tiring at night after a busy day, but no big problem! The stairs and stairway and bin area were clean and well lit. Other neighbours friendly if you passed them on the way out. 5 minutes walk to a park with children's play area was handy. And also very convenient for the train station, arriving from the airport. Absolutely no complaints, and would recommend anyone to stay in this apartment - a very good base for a trip to Paris.

Fabulous Paris

Our first visit to Paris was made even more enjoyable in finding this superb apartment in an excellent location.
It was beautifully clean and extremely well equipped. Yes there are stairs up to it hey, this is Paris.
The owner was efficient and provided excellent customer service and we would recommend this apartment to all.
On the street below is a fabulous Japanese restaurant which makes divine sushi! There is so much to see and do in Paris, but never enough time. We will be back.

A loverly appartment having plenty of space for 2. The stairs up are typical french appartment not recomended for young families with buggies or anyone who is disabled. But fine for the average person. The appartment was well equiped although we mostly had breakfast there the rest of the time was spent exploring the fantastic city. The metro station is just across the road so afer a long day it was not far to walk .. picking up some wine from the local shops (also very handy).
It was well maintained / clean and had a great shower to get you going in the morning. We enjoyed some loverly walks by the canel in the evening. It is close to the Gard du Nord so if traveling by euro star its perfect.
Overall we had a loverly time and would recomend this to couples who like a little more space and freedom that a hotel provides.

Wonderful place to stay in Central Paris

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children aged 4 and 7 for a weekend in May/June.

The flat was much better than I had expected for central Paris - well equipped for all our needs - only a little jealous that the kids ended up with the lovely bedroom though the sofa bed was fine.

The children thought the 4 flights of stairs were an adventure though am not sure I would have liked it if they were toddlers.

The location of the flat was also great - very near the metro and train station for travelling around Paris. The immediate area was also pleasant with shops and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Although Anne and Ani were out of town they left adequate instructions and contact details so we always felt looked after.

Overall we would happily return to the flat next time we visit Paris.

Central Paris, Lovely apartment near Gare de l'Est

Review Submitted: April 20, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Superb renovation and decoration. One bedroomed apartment which can sleep five.It has a double bed, a double sofa bed and a spare mattress for the fifth person.
Close to the Gare de L'Est, and opposite to Metro stop, Chateau Landon. Supermarket and bakery close by, as well as other shops..
The apartment was fully equipped with Internet access, DVD player, Freebox for TV, Microwave as well as all the usual kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher.
The property was very clean and well maintained. The customer service was excellent, helpful and friendly. The map of Paris, and leaflet, provided on our arrival was very useful.
We shall definitely be returning and will recommend this apartment to all of our friends.

This was a very clean and well presented apartment with everything needed for a short stay in Paris.
The apartment is situated on the fifth floor of a real character Paris apartment block, the stairs are steep but easy after the initial luggage drop. You share the block with locals so a real taste of Paris is gathered. We walked to the apartment from The Gare du Nord station (5min) having taken the train from Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Metro is just across the road with easy access to all the sights Paris has to offer. Enjoyed the stay and would return next time in Paris.

Owner's Response: Just one little error, the flat is on the 4th floor not the 5th.

We've rented this apartment for an extended week-end in Paris. The apt. is totally renovated, equiped and spacious for a family of four (couple and 2 kids).
Unfortunately, we can't say the same of the building, really in a bad shape. The stairway was frighten and it seens it's the only good apt. in the building. Dispite of that, we had a good time there.

Owner's Response: The building in which this lovely apartment is, is in fact old but we don't see what could be freightening about the staircase???
During the month of april and may there were some apartments that were being renovated, this may explain the bad impression it left.
The neighbourhood is a middle class district and the neigbours are not rich but nice people. In this building there is a cosmopolitan population made of youth and the elderly. This is how Paris is !
We will rapidly put the pictures of the common parts on this add and on our website.
Thanks
Anne and Ani
