Nice, Large Home in the French Countryside

We just got back from a 3-week vacation in France with my kids and my parents. We spent two weeks at Les Rosiers.
Les Rosiers is a nicely renovated, 3-bedroom farmhouse in Les Bories about 4 km from Montignac. The house was built in 1940 and owners Steve and Judie have put a lot of work into fixing it up. The kitchen and 3-1/2 bathrooms all look brand new. Almost everything you could need is provided (fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, linens, towels, clothes washer, iron etc).
Chris and Kate help Steve and Judie with listing the property. Steve and Judie live at Les Rosiers in rooms with a separate entrance. Les Bories is a small hamlet close to the Vezere river and Valojoulx is the nearest village, but you'll need to go to Montignac for markets, bakeries, restaurants and banks. The small village of Saint Leon sur Vezere (6 km away) is also very cute. We rented a canoe in Saint Leon and spent hours floating down the Vezere (the rental companies drive you back).
The area is very peaceful and scenic, but it's a bit of a drive on narrow roads to get to much of the Dordogne (about 30 km to Sarlat, 40 km to Beynac et Cazenac for instance). There's also no doubt that you're living in the countryside - there might be more cows than people in Les Bories and the local birds make sure you wake up early every morning!
Overall, we loved Les Rosiers and we don't hesitate to recommend it.
