Villa Les Trois Soeurs with three daughters

Eva &Family Munich, Germany
Review Submitted: October 4, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We rented the excellent villa in August and were pleased to find the house not only nice and cool (even when air conditioning wasn't turned on) but fully equipped with everything you need and, most of all, with a terrace that offers a splendid view of the garden and the pool. We came here with three teenage daughters who enjoyed the pool and the short distance to Nimes city centre. The friendly welcome of Mme Granon made sure the wonderful atmosphere was maintained throughout our stay (and even topped by a delicious cake), so we were sorry to leave after a week full of sun, peaceful quietness and lovely trips to the villages and sights nearby.

Holiday In Nimes

ken2109 Edinburgh
Review Submitted: August 13, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My family and I have just returned from a holiday in Nimes and I just wanted to record how much we enjoyed our stay in this villa. The house was beautifully set out with all the possible amenities you could possibly want and it was a joy to sit on the terrace at all times of the day looking down on the lovely pool and grounds.
We particularly appreciated the use of the American fridge in the hot climate which gave us ice and cold filtered water on demand. It may seem a small thing to many people but when you have trailed back from supermarkets with dozens of bottles of water you will know what I mean!
We found the villa to be well within walking distance of the centre of Nimes but at the same time it was nice to be in a quieter suburb. There's also a fantastic boulangerie at the bottom of the road with the best pain au raisin I have ever tasted!
Nimes itself is a stunning town with its world famous ampitheatre and we found it a real delight just walking the streets. Fortunately there were many good restaurants to choose from and we had some great meals out.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Nimes and we will certainly be considering a return trip. It was also a delight to deal with the owners of the villa who made everything very easy for us.

Villa Les Trois Soeurs in Nimes Property 92285

Review Submitted: July 22, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have just returned from our holiday in Nimes in the South of France. It got off to a great start when we were greeted by a most welcoming and most helpful Mme Granon. The villa itself was fully equipped with everything we needed along with plenty of information about Nimes and the surrounding area.

The pool was perfect and my daughter especially loved swimming at night when the pool can be lit up. The bus service into Nimes which is one minute from the villa was very regular and reliable and it only took five minutes to get into the centre. This was a bonus when we did not want to use our car.

There is a very nice feel to the house. It is preciously kept and well looked after. It is in a great location: very peaceful, private and secure. The owner was very responsive in dealing with our various questions.

We will definitely be returning next year.

A week in Nimes and surroundings

Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We rented the property for a week early summer and we much enjoyed our stay very much. Temperatures that week were up to 36 deg.C and the swimming pool was obviously used frequently. We were 6 people with big expectations and we should say that all our expectation were met fully. The house is great and very suitable for 6 grown ups. We enjoyed the terrace and the barbeque as well as the aircon inside.
Nimes is a nice city with a great colloseum. Also worth visiting are Avignon, Pont du Gard, Arles and Camargue.

An excellent property on the outskirts of Nimes, very quiet and private. It is well equiped, clean and well maintained but unfortunately the dishwasher was out of action at the time of our stay!
A car is a great advantage for getting about but you can use the bus service to get in and out of Nimes until 8pm.
Taxis cost about 10 - 15 euros.
We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Nimes.

Good Times at Nimes

Anzacs Sydney, Australia
Review Submitted: October 8, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We recently stayed at this villa with a party of 6 adults. The villa met our needs for space, facilities, privacy - not to mention the beautiful location. The description was 100% accurate but it was even better than our expectations.
We did not have a car but the public transport into Nimes (and from there elsewhere) was excellent (bus at the bottom of the street), and it is also possible to combine some exercise with walking into the city centre.
The property was clean and well maintained and Madame Helene was on hand to greet us and assist in any way possible.
We would highly recommend this property and only wish we had had a longer stay.

Villa Les Trois Soeurs - Nimes

WFC Hornette Hertfordshire
Review Submitted: August 19, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We have just had a lovely fortnight in this property. It is highly recommended. It was very clean, well maintained and well set out inside. The bedrooms were perfectly big enough - there were 7 of us in total. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and plenty big enough for 7. There was plently of local information within the villa, although we stayed by the poolside most of the time! The welcome we received was perfect - friendly and accessible without being at all intrusive. Nimes is an interesting city, and there is plenty to do within easy striking distance of the property.
***
I wouldn't recommend this property for anyone with dodgy joints as the steps up to the property are quite steep, with a drop off the raised poolside area that took me by surprise once! I think for families with very young or unpredictable children the pool area would be a worry. Our youngest is 7 and a strong swimmer but I'd have been nervous with any children younger than her!

We had no problems really in our stay - we were helped with our daughter's first night illness by the lovely neighbours, and the property owner was available by email when one of the electrical appliances was playing up. Although this didn't get rectified during our stay, both the owner and the manager of the property were dealing with it.
This property is clearly well loved by the owners, and this is reflected in the care they have taken with the maintenance and the presentation of the property.

We would very highly recommend it.

We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in France which was enhanced by our stay in Villa Les Trois Soeurs in Nimes. The villa is extremely clean, beautifully decorated and has every comfort you need for a self catering holiday including a large private pool which our daughter swam in at every opportunity including night time as it can be lit. The villa is perfectly located to take in all the sights, of which there are many. If you are looking for an idyllic setting and delightful villa I would highly recommend Villa Les Trois Soeurs without any hesitation.
