really nice villa

With such a lovely island all we needed was a really nice villa and we were not disappointed. The owner helped us to sort out transport to and from the villa/airport and with the car hire. The villa is set a little outside of Coral bay so a car is a must but its location makes it ideal for exploring the island. Everything listed in the inventory was there and the villa really lacked for nothing - except maybe a heated pool which was extremely chilly in October. Although it is surrounded by lots of other properties its location allowed you to see the fantastic sunsets over Coral Bay by sitting on the upstairs balcony.
Owner's Response: We are always happy to help our clients with extra's such as taxi transfers and car hire. The weather did turn quite wet and mild for a few weeks in October 2008, which was unusual for Cyprus, causing the pool to cool down. This was followed by a heat wave in November when everything heated up again ! Whilst it would be nice to have the option of a heated pool, the cost would be prohibitive - we do like to offer best value for money to our clients. Generally the pool is warm enough for swimming from May through to October, whilst the sea remains warm well into November. The Villa is located in Peyia close to local facilities including bars, restaurants, shops. It also does enjoy a cul-de-sac position backing onto open fields behind. We would always recommend a car so that guests can experience the best of Cyprus, we are ideally situated to visit the Akamas Nature reserve, Troodos mountains and both the south and north coastlines. However some guest just want to "Chill out" and just use the local facilities and maybe walk down the back lanes to Coral Bay, enjoy the beach, a meal and a drink and then get a 10 minute taxi ride back.

Great holiday

Review Submitted: August 17, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We were a family unit of 2 adults and 4 teenagers and we all had a great time here. The villa is lovely, very well kitted out with everything we required. The owners were extremely helpful providing us with a very useful brochure about the villa and the area prior to us flying out there. They sorted out our carhire from the local carhirewhich included taxi to and from the airport. This all ran very smoothly, even when on holiday the clutch went on the hired 7 seater 4x4.The car hire firm replaced the car straight away with another 7 seater.
We all loved the pool area and the outside shower, washing and drying facilities were a godsend too. (there are 2 showers and bath inside too)Indoors is very clean and spacious, the photos dont do the villa justice.
It was very hot when we were there but we tended to stay ay the villa, with a short trip to the supermarket which had everything we wanted,in the early part of the day and went on our excursion from mid afternoon.
We had a great time visiting 2 quite quiet bays which were good for snorkelling, visiting the more touristy Coral Bay for its beach and banana boat rides where I screamed my head off!We went to Paphos waterpark, and the Tombs of the KIngs. There is a lot of history if you want to visit sites. We also had a great time jumping off rocks and waterfalls at the stunning Adonis Falls, although we did have to cover up a very rudey statues anatomy with a towel when we were there!
Our holiday was topped off with our scuba diving session with Cydive based at the Coral Bay Hotel.
Food was great,we bbqed, cooked,or went out to the local restaurants which are many and varied.Overall we all had a lovely holiday and have been very impressed by the owners care and attention, even after our holiday when they readily sorted out the return of an item that belonged to my daughter that she had left in the villa.

Villa Re'an

Review Submitted: January 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
We have visited the villa many times, all of which have been memorable and thoughoughly enjoyable. The villa provides everything you would expect from a self catering perspective and more. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with a touch of class, all the outside space is beautifully presented with the pool providing hours of fun and a welcome escape from the heat.

Cyprus has plenty to offer whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday, for example lazing on the beach at Turtle bay, snorkelling and enjoying a cold beer whilst watching the sunset over the Akamas peniusular. Or, alternatively if you are seeking a more active holiday a trip to the Troodos mountains, or a luxury cruise out of Paphos harbour is enough to satisfy the adventurous amongst us.

All in all we rate this holiday as the best we have ever had, which is why we are addicted and return year after year

our holiday here !!

Review Submitted: January 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
This property was perfect !!! It was in a great spot for good access to places and the sun!!

The villa was very clean and the pool area was great with a fantastic pool to cool down in. Facilities in the villa were just what we needed and the large open spaces in there were so nice and fresh.

The owners provide the best service we have ever had from start to finish on our hoilday, very organised, friendly and welcomming

The neighbours were very helpful and friendly and you felt very relaxed and safe there

Enjoyed our stay very much and had some lovely meals. The best were along the kings of the tombs road and they were chloes chinese and the olive tree ( something 'olive' anyhow !)

Coral bay was very 'neon' but the food and staff there were great and it was perfect for people watching in the bars there.

We did go to pegia villiage , just up the road and it was very pretty and traditional , not a lot of eating places though - yet!! , But that wasnt a bad point

Would reccommend to anyone as the villa did make the holiday !!
