Reviews of Property: Luxury bed & breakfast guesthouse in a beautiful unspoilt Canarian town.

My girlfriend and me stayed at Villa Las Dunas for two weeks in January. The guesthouse is very clean and nice, with perfect location near the sea. What makes Villa Las Dunas outstanding are their owners: Jill and Nigel took every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They picked us up at the airport, they made us an excellent breakfast, they helped us out with transportation, and many other things. They are really dedicated to providing a perfect service, and let you forget all the worries. For us this was a great vacation at Villa Las Dunas!

We always believed Tenerife to be a very crowded island to go to when you wanted to lie in the sun and it wasn't really on our list of places to go to. But then my brother told us (after his stay in the B&B) that we were much mistaken and that we should give El Medano in Tenerife a chance. And so we did because we really wanted a rest and some good weather but without the crowd.
The B&B is an excellent place to stay. Everything is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet and there's a very serene atmosphere. There's a pool but also a nice beach nearby and there are lots of nice restaurants in El Medano.
It is however also a great place to start from when you want to discover the island. And there is much to discover. We just went to Tenerife to relax but we couldn't restrain ourselves and ended up renting a car. The scenery is of a breathtaking diversity and the walks are challenging. The owners of the B&B, Jill and Nigel, were unbelievably and genuinely hospitable and we got lots of very useful advice from them. They also arranged our car and helped us find somewhere to stay the first few days of our holiday when the B&B was full. We visited the Parque Nacional del Teide and drove and walked mostly on the west side of the island. We will certainly go back to discover the east and north of the island and there would be no other place we’d like to stay more than with Jill and Nigel.

the holiday was fantastic. We were given free storage for our windsurfing gear, great breakfast to start our day and chilled by the heated pool at the end of a long day windsurfing! The new owners Jill and Nigel looked after us and made us feel at home, the restaurants in the village were plentiful and we will be back again soon!

My husband and I stayed here at the begining of July. The villa is in a great location for the el cebezo beach and walking distance to el medano. The room was perfect with comfy beds and a great view from the balcony. The pool is great and very quite with place to be out or in the breeze. The breakfast was perfect, eating and watching the waves come in! Julie,Andy and Chris did everything they could to make you feel welcome and completely relaxed, highly recommend Villa Las Dunas.

The owners were the most kind and accomodating people. They work very hard to make you welcome and help you with planning your holiday activities. We really enjoyed our time at Villa Las Dunas. There is a beautiful pool and wonderful views. Breakfast is a great bonus! I can not reccomend this property highly enough. It may not be suitable for the elderly as there is a 15 minute walk into the main town, but taxis are available of required. The nearest town is delightful, with beautiful beaches and a few very nice restuarants. It is very easy to travel around the island from here too, which was excellent if you want to discover more.
