Early season-2 weeks perfect holiday

The adopt family from Denmark Frederiksværk, Denmark
Review Submitted: November 6, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
October 9-23, we spend 14 lovely days in Joe and James' apartment.
We are a little family from Denmark and as parents to Mikkel- 11 years old and adopted from Mumbay 1998, Regal Park was the perfect quiet place, for his first return to India.
The monsoon-rain had just stopped the week before our arrival, and
all the trees, flowers and plants were great.
Due to the early season, we almost had alle the pools to ourselves-a
relief, when returning from the hot and sometimes hectic tours around in Goa ( except for a couple cloudy days-sunny all the holliday ).
Tour tips : Jeeps to Dudhsagar waterfalls, and a swim just below-Sahakari spice plantation and riding, washing elephants-Mapusa Market-Fort Aguada-Palolem beach-Dolphin boats from Coco beach.
The people at Regal Park are really kind : Sarah handling over the apartment - Ivan the garden-manager and last but not least - Allen the
taxi-driver.
We used Allen to all our tours round in Goa- a great and safe-driver -
he even invited us on a tour on their "Divali" (New Years) eve - to watch all the "devils" made of bambus and pap-mache' - in the different villages - and meant for burning in the night - a great experience !
All in all - together with Joe's detailed information before the travel -
really a place to recommend !

2 weeks luxury Regal Park Goa-September 2009

Review Submitted: October 11, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Complex is secure 24hrs a day, very well kept Gardens and Pools.Apartment very clean, welcoming and the Air Con was a welcome relief from the very hot & humid weather. All facilities within the apartment were clean and had nice decor, kitchen, bathroom, living area and bedrooms. The owners certainly helped us with planning our trip, giving information on visa`s, flight and transport information. The owners arranged a car to pick us up from Dabolim airport and we were greeted by a vry nice Man, who was very welcoming and even took us to a shop to change our english money into rupees.

Candolim is a lovely village with plenty of places to eat and relax- Fishermans Cove was has excelent choices of Indian,Goan and international food and make a great Cold Coffee with Ice Cream!

Down on Candolim Beach, although none of the Shacks were open, Sunny Side Up Resturant was very nice, wright on the Beach and a great place to watch the Sun go down with an evening drink.Unfortunately the Sea was to rough to venture in for a Swim, but was nice to take a walk along as it was quite quiet. We eventuly found our feet and discovered Baga Beach, what an amazing time we had here,Massages almost every day, great service from the Beach Bed owners(who have become friends and we keep in touch) Brittos Resturant do a great Menu for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner and definately worth a visit.

All in all Goa is an Amazing, Fannnntastic place, not sure what it is, but we have beeen drawn to Goa and are already planning our next trip.

indian school holiday in may

My mother, wife, kids and i travelled from Bombay by overnight train. We have been to Goa many times but never stayed in a private place. We were very happy with the standard and service we got. The english agent met us and showed us how things work. We got lots of help from Ivan the manager and he told us about good local places to eat. My kids liked to swim all day in the 3 pools and did not want to go out at all! We can recommend this place to all our friends and we want to come again during holidays next May. It was fantastic and we are very happy we booked here.

Candolim, off-season

We used the apartment for 3 weeks in July.
It was very comfortable, secure and close to the usual facilities, including a private hospital, supermarket, restaurants, laundry at 15 rupees per garment, washed and ironed, and the excellent Coffee Day cafe.

There was rain but not every day and never all day. The lack of crowds made our stay all the more enjoyable. This also meant that we had a swimming pool to ourselves in the complex.

Any minor problems, e.g. how to get the DVD player working,
were rapidly solved by the agent.

Hampi by train, to see the last Hindu kingdom in India is a must.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

We were there Jan 09 and had a wonderful time. The apartment is excellent and the complex position is ideal in that it is only a short stroll in the main tourist area. Our correspondance with the owners was great and she kept us well informed and even arranged for flowers for my fiancee's birthday. A lovely touch!! Food and drink are still very cheap. The fresh samosa's that are sold daily with the bread man are great. Alan the taxi man was recommended by the owner and he was a great help and we saw alot of Goa outwith Candolim. Two weeks and not a cloud in the sky.
We had a fabulous time and would recommend this place without a doubt. We will be back.

Paradise found

Goa girl Manchester
Review Submitted: February 4, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
My parents, kids and I had a relaxing break in this luxury apartment, which was decorated with stunning original paintings. Once through the security gates from the lane it was like paradise, with 3 pools, lovely gardens and really friendly residents/guests. There was always enough space to grab a poolside lounger or chair. We really felt at home.
Shops, restaurants and Candolim beach are close by, and the taxi driver recommended by the owners took us out and about to see the sights of Goa. We will definitely book to come back and stay here in 2009.

We had a sensational holiday in goa thanks to awesome accommodation! It was central to everything, and better than we expected. The pools and garden are kept immaculate, and the help/advise we recieved from the owner and agent was great. A very prompt email contact, and very reliable. We loved their place so much we've inquired about purchasing our own place at regal park. Great restaurant 'fishermans cove' right round the corner with the most pleasant manager by the name of Blaze. If u love the sun everyday, and a relaxing time by the pool, this is the place to go!

Holiday in paradise

Leicester Tiger Old Boy Cheshire, England
Review Submitted: July 28, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
We had a fantastic holiday in the best holiday apartment we've ever stayed in. Everything was clean and new, and had loads of space for the family. It was in a central location so it was easy to get out and about. The agent was really helpful, and the owners gave us loads of tips on where to go and what to do. They even sent us a Goa Guide book before we went. We will definitely stay here again.
