Reviews of Property: Lovely 2 bed holiday rental house - close to beach - with pool and sunny garden

this was my second visit to this property which has been nicely refurbished although i have been coming to torre for some years
this is my favorite place.people are friendly and everything is on your doorstep i would certainly book again the property was clean and
nothing was too much trouble for the couple who looks after the place
we now regard them as friends.the restarants on the sea front have a
wide range of meals.try murphys for breakfast or la boca for something
special.you'll have a great time.

An great couple of weeks.  Villa as per description with all the home from home amenities.  Los Locos beach only a 15 min walk away. Some lovely bars within a 2 min walk. Pool very nice although a few too many rules/regulations for our 13 year old son. Alan our local contact was excellent and full of local information for shopping, best bars etc. We would have certainly rebooked for next year if it wasnt already booked.

Enjoyed the area so much we are now looking to move there within the next 5 years.

All in all a fabulous holiday for all three of us.

Just returned from a very nice holiday in Torrevieja. Casa Sheraz was everything what we expected and more! Just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants so no car was needed. The house was fully equipped and that also meets our expectations. We also want to thank Alan and Judith for their warm welcome and support during our stay. We have just has a wonderful, relaxing holiday in this house. I would agree with other reviewers that the house is better equipped than most holiday rentals of this type and is very well maintained (the power shower is a welcome feature in the hot weather).
The service received from the key holders was second to none and we have no complaints whatsoever. We do actually stay in this area at least once a year and would certainly book again for the next trip.
For anybody looking for a holiday here for the first time, there is always something to do in Torrevieja. La Rosaleda (the area where the house is) is quiet and very clean.There is a good variety of bars and restaurants and a fantastic beach just 10 minutes walk away.
I certainly recommend this house.

This house is very accurate in its description and more , the property is spotless and the most well equipped property we have been in , the kitchen has every thing you could need , We actualy meet the owners when we arrived what a lovely couple , also the managers Alan and Judith were rearly nice too , As we have been coming to this area for some years now we know our way around but its lovely to explore and every thing you could need is in a short walking distance away . This is the first time we have stayed in the house in april but it wont be the last we have booked for 4 weeks next year in august yippee cant wait to get in the wonderful pool in the private gardens in the secure gated complex of which there is only about 22 houses forming a square . "We arrived in Torrevieja the last week of October to spend 5 months.
We were delighted with the property it was every thing the advert said and more. It is
a Spanish style property, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. I loved the kitchen - so
well equipped - to a much higher standard than average rental property. As we were
there for 5 months this was a real bonus as we enjoy staying in cooking and using the
wonderful local produce.

We spent a lot of time exploring the area, walking, cycling and further afoot by car,
there is so much to see and do in the warm sunshine. Even though it was winter
time there was plenty of entertainment - the local pubs provide Quizzes, bingo through to
salsa lessons. There are theatres and shows and of course big parades in town on Fiesta
days. Do look for a free newspapers which tells what is on.

We went to Spanish lessons and talks on history and culture as we wanted to
learn about the country and people so some thing for every one.

Christmas was unforgettable - not at all commercial - we went to a carol service around
the amazing Belen (nativity scene) which was very moving. Then Christmas day started
by a walk along the beach, followed by a bottle of cava. Then lunch in the sunshine in
the garden. A full Christmas meal then 'joy of joy' a dishwasher to wash up, so we could
relax with more local wine.

Spring time is magical, the Almond trees are breath taking from white through to
deep pink as far as the eye can see. The rocky dry ground comes alive with
hundreds of wild flowers - you really must come and see for yourself.

We did not go out a lot in the evenings, the house has an excellent TV package
and DVD; so we we were very comfortable. When we did go out we tended to go to
Spanish places and try Tapas. Our favourite was Don pancheo on C/apollo. Really
good and excellent wine from the barrel, which you can take home - if you bring a
bottle. Any restaurant with the prefix 'Meson' in the name is worth investigating and you
may sample dishes from different regions of Spain.

The sun does not shine every day in winter and it can rain, but it is loads warmer than
the UK. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. I loved Torrevieja and
Casa Sheraz has every thing you need under the sun."

i have holidays in torre every year and stayed at many different places and i have to say that this is the best yet it is an ideal position for everything you would like to do. the villa was clean and had everything you needed. the swimming pool is right outside your door and plenty of bars and resteraunts just around the corner i would recommend this villa to anyone but don't all book at once leave room for me next year

If it is Sun, Sea & Sand that you require then Torrevieja is the place for you. I have been going to Spain on and off for the last 20 years and the Costa Blanca always promises beautiful beaches. We have stayed at this lovely house in July and being a family of four (children aged 9 & 12) we thought the house and area were just what was required for our needs. The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom lovely, and the house included laundry appliances and supplies.
Entertainment which is always essential when you have a family was easily obtainable.
The description of the house is very accurate. The location was good - not too far from the beach and town.
The owners have provided a book in the house, with excellent information from local ATM and pharmacy, to restaurants and bars etc.
You can hire bikes for a few days and also enjoy the local go-karts!! The garden and pool were delightful and a welcome haven at the end of a busy day.
If you just wish to chill out in the evening, buy some fish from the local supermarket or market (very cheap) or meat from the local butchers which is just round the corner, open a bottle of wine, (£1.20) and have a B.B.Q.on the terrace by the lovely pool.
With children you have to cater for all tastes and this is the place.Don't worry if you are looking for something typically Spanish because there are local Tapas bars which serve very good food at reasonable prices.
There are numerous restaurants nearby which served excellent food at Prices that are reasonable. You can also eat at Los Locos beach which is approx 10 min walk away. Or use the bus service that will take you into Torrevieja or La Mata every 30 mins for 1.10 Euro each.
There are fabulous Restaurants and ice cream parlours along the promenade with a wide choice of flavours. Near the marina and pier in Torrevieja there is a lovely fairground that is must for children.
If you do decide to go sightseeing for the day, I recommend you take the back roads to see some of the countryside and head for El Palmeral, which is a lovely town to spend a few hours.
It was comforting that Alan and Judith (who look after the property for the owners) are very friendly and helpful and met us at the house on our arrival.
We thoroughly recommend this house and have enthused about the house and Torrevieja area to our friends since returning home.
