Well equipped holiday apartment

We have just returned from our stay in Belfast. We found the communication & booking process for the apartment to be both personable & efficient. The apartment was easily located & matched our requirements well. It is situated off a main arterial route into the city & was easy to get to & from. The local amenities were excellent with a supermarket & shops within walking distance. The apartment was clean, modern & well equipped. Everything in the apartment was as described in the letting details & everything was in good working order. Our visit mainly consisted of visits to family but there is so much to see & do within a short driving distance of the property that the location is excellent. I am sure that we will use the property again in the future & would not hesitate to recommend it to other holiday makers.

Highly recommended apartment on outskirts of Belfast. We visited for a family wedding so didn't get a chance to do much sightseeing. Superbly equiped with everything you could possibly need. Maps and tourist information great with lots of ideas for things to do. Bangor, Donaghadee and Strangford Lough nearby, Mourne Mountains a bit further. On the doorstep is Stormont - take a stroll up the drive for excellent views of the Castlereagh Hills. Take the Craigantlet route (by Lidl's) over to Holywood and visit the Ulster Folk Museum - well worth a day's visit. Will be back for longer next time!

a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in a nice part of Belfast city, fully furnished and equipped with all modern convineincies, spotless- clean and well- maintained. owner was very helpfull and provided a professional customer service, there's alot to see and do in belfast city centre and around. try the restaurant in the Culledon hotel by the sea ( 3 miles from apartment).overall we enjoyed our stay in the apartment and we strongly recommend it to our freinds who are visiting Belfast.

Great location! Modern apartment!

We stayed at Bailey Manor for our honeymoon May 09. We chose this apartment because it had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We were looking to stay in a quiet village, although we still needed to be close to shops, restaurants and bars, and as we had no car, we relied on public transport. This fitted the bill perfectly!

The apartment had more than enough room for us, it was well equiped and tastefully decorated. The building was very secure and as it was so new it was also spotlessly clean.

The location was perfect for us as the small cul de sac allowed us plenty of privacy and was quiet, yet it was just a 2minute walk to the local Asda supermarket, and 5minutes to the nearest bus stop for buslinks into the city. There were also plenty of fast food and take aways a short walk away, as well as a pharmacy, medical centre and library.

We really enjoyed our stay in Dundonald and would certainly consider returning to Bailey Manor, and have already recommended it to others!

We stayed at 11 Bailey Manor for 2 wks in April 2009. The flat was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need right down to lunch boxes for picnics! It is ideally situated for Belfast and exploring Ards Peninsula and North Down Coast but we used it as a base to tour all over N Ireland and had a wonderful holiday. There was a good bus service to city centre and to Newtownards and the coast. There was a major supermarket across the road, with other local shops, banks etc a short walk away. Doctors' surgery, chemist, library were also nearby. We would certainly stay there again.

Good location and well equipped

Situated 15 mins from Belfast city and the airport in a quiet residential area with parking. Apartment very well equipped and like a home from home with all mod cons. A 5 min walk to Asda. Good food at local pub 10 mins walk at the Moat Inn (or Macdonalds close by if the kids have other ideas of a good meal!). There is also a chinese restaurant behind the Maxol garage across from Asda. The post office is also at the shopping area behind the Maxol garage and the Ulster bank is next to the Moat Inn if you need cash.

I would recommend a car to go to the Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-reed bridge (although there are organised day trips from Belfast). If with children, the W5 at the Odyssey in Belfast is a great interactive discovery centre with lots of good eateries. There is also a cinema and bowling there. Within a mile of the apartment is the Dundonald Ice Bowl. We managed a couple of games of bowling and a couple of rounds at the outdoor Pirate Adventure Golf. There was also a Laser shooting place there and we managed a visit to the recently opened cinema at the Omniplex just up the road.

A great location for those with or without transport. The owner provides all the information you need on local buses and attractions in a well compiled folder in the apartment. Overall, far superior to any hotel stay if you like your independence!

I stayed in Bailey Manor with a couple of friends for a weekend. we found our stay a very enjoyable one. it wasn't too far from the supermarkets and just a short bus ride away from the city centre. the appartment itself was nice and cosy and had everything you needed, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, stereo. i would definatley recommend Bailey Manor as somewhere to stay.

Modern, comfortable and well equiped

The property is a short drive from Belfast City Airport and is modern, well equiped and fitted out to a high standard. The owner is very helpful and has left lots of information regarding the surrounding area within the apartment. There are also full instructions for the use of the heating syatem and electrical appliances.

The location is is also convenient for Belfast city centre being only a 10 -15 minute drive. It is also only 5 minutes away from the Stormont parliament building.

Can recommend the open top bus tour around the city and a visit to the Giant's Causeway. We found a hire car to be essential.
