Fantastic Villa

Happy Villaette Newcastle
Review Submitted: September 1, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We had a fantastic time in this villa, there was 5 adults and we had plenty of room and could have easily had more people. The villa itself was clean, light and airy. A hire car is essential for the property but it is still fairly close to the railway line thats links with Alicante and Benidorm but there are some pretty steep hills to encounter on the way.

Brian was very helpful with any queries and a villa guide book was on hand with information about the villa and where to go on days out as well as were local shops and bars were.

The directions to the villa provided by Brian and Maureen were easy to follow from Alicante Airport.

I would and have already recommended this property to friends and family and would definatly go back myself.
Owner's Response: Excellent, thats what we like to hear, everyone happy!!

quiet, but lovely villa

Had a fantastic time in this villa, there was 7 of us 5 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room, its very spacious and clean throughout. Loved the pool, spent some lazy days around it. Very quiet area, but still a lovely place. Brian & Maureen are very helpful and didn't mind us asking lots of questions. Recommend this villa if you want peace and quiet.
Owner's Response: We are very pleased that our last house guests of the season had an enjoyable time and we are sure as with this Summer, all future guests will appreciate the quiet location and the spaciousness of the villa plus enjoy the stunning evening view of the Cabeco' D'Or mountain. With a pleasant sandy cove just a short walk away this villa makes an ideal retreat for a family holiday.

quiet peaceful location

This was a good place to spend a quiet week as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The pool was the highlight with many hours spent in and lounging around it. Lots of space internally and externally. The description is quite accurate but as with all these rentals read it carefully to ensure it is what you want. There is very little to do as far as restaurants/pubs go in the town itself and it is about a 10 minute drive to El Campello. The place was clean although maintenance could have been slightly better - air conditioning not functioning properly, lots of light bulbs blown(when mentioned attempts made to rectify both immediately with varying success) Lots to do within easy drive of the villa including nice Spanish villages, Terra Mitica - suggest afternoon ticket which still gives you 6 hours to enjoy rides avoiding crowds and heat, local beaches and rugged countryside (not flat like south of Alicante)
The booking was very easy as was collection of keys and directions to villa. We'd recommend to friends but highlight that you have to be aware it isn't the most lively town in Spain which has its good and bad points.
Ate in a few restaurants around about, Venta el charco was good for lunch - go for the "menu del dia" at restaurants and you'll save a small fortune - this was highlighted by a/c repairman! We would go back to this property and suggest it to others.

Nice villa

Review Submitted: July 22, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We where 4 adults staying in this lovely villa for 2 weeks.

The description of the villa is very accurate with the quite location and a nice small beach close by. It was pretty well maintained and nicely cleaned. And for those prefering the pool it was also really nice and a good size.

Brian and Maureen have been very helpfull both answering questions before arrival and during our stay there :) Also with providing some local turist material with some nice options of places to visit.

We had a really nice and relaxing 2 weeks.

Perfect Villa!

Our family of two adults and three children aged 14, 12 and 9 stayed at this villa and loved it! Good value for money and well equiped. The pool was a perfect size for everyone to be in at once without it being crowded. The villa was well situated in a small village near to the main road between Alicante and Benidorm but also close to some good areas for walking and exploring the mountains. We definitely recommend to villa and hope to return in the future.
Owner's Response: The villa has been enjoyed by all those who have stayed, it is extremely well equipped and ideal for a quiet family break. Everyone has found the villa well presented, equipped and good value for money. Repeat bookings are already being made!
