Review Submitted: October 20, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
My husband and I stayed here while visiting relatives in town, and were very comfortable. The house is immaculate and has everything anyone might need. We will be returning in the spring, hopefully!

The photographs are accurate, and even though the temperatures outside were over 90 degrees during the daytime, the ceiling fans combined with the air conditioner set at 76 degrees kept the house cool.

The owner provides wonderful customer service, and is available by phone or email.

I would recommend this property to a friend.

Great House Close to Merritt island NWR

Romantic Birder Pahrump, Nv
Review Submitted: July 22, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2008
As avid birdwatchers and beachcombers, we really enjoyed this stylishly decorated home very close to Merritt Island NWR, Cape Canaveral, and an expectional seafood restaurant and market. The screened-in backporch is a great place for morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Everything you need is well provided.

Titusville House

WMM Glasgow, Scotland
Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
This house is completely true to all the descriptions given. The facilities are excellent and there are lots of handy extras such as a plentiful supply of charcoal for the barbecue and various other extras you would not normally find in a holiday house. This gave it a more "homely" feel than is usual. The property is very well maintained and exceptionally clean.

All dealings with the proprietor were pleasantly and professionally dealt with. I would recommend this house to friends without hesitation.

The house is well situated for visiting the coast, Merritt Island and Kennedy Space Centre. We also visited various theme parks and Blue Springs Park which, although further afield, were within a reasonable distance.

It's fair to say that the house is a bit off the normal "tourist" trail but for those that prefer to experience a bit more of the real world, this is a positive benefit.

Comfortable home with easy drive to major sights

Ilovetravel Boston, MA
Review Submitted: May 29, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
My husband and I spent most of January 2009 in this very comfortable home. The furnishings were attractive and the whole house was very clean. The kitchen had excellent appliances. We especially enjoyed a small screened porch in back and frequently ate there. The wifi was a big plus.
We loved Titusville -- not so touristy as some places. It has a quiet small-town feel. Many of its restaurants look modest but have truly delicious seafood and lots of southern cooking.
The house is ideally located for driving places -- 5 minutes to connect to interstate 95. In the other direction, 10 minutes east takes you to the huge and beautiful Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with hiking trails and driving loops. Cape Canaveral is not too far either.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

decorated and clean. it was a quiet neighborhood.it had a pleasent enclosed yard with fruit trees...very nice. we also thought that the money transaction was quck and honest.
we would defenently stay agian.

Titusville home

CJLS Idaho
Review Submitted: February 21, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
Our family of four stayed here in February 2009. We planned on watching the February 12th shuttle take off but it was postponed until after we left. Nevertheless, there was plenty for us to do in the area...two days at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), two days at the wildlife refuge, another day at Blue Springs State Park (about an hour or so away) for canoeing and watching the manatees. We went to Cocoa Beach but left as soon as we got there as it was not "our cup of tea".

This rental was very clean and well maintained. Geraldine Lovato provided excellent customer service and it is obvious that she aims to please. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the thick bath towels. Although the location is not in the best part of town, I felt safe. I would say that this home is primarily for adults, although our children, aged 9 and 11 years, loved it. We bought a couple of games and books and we were set. Our kids are avid readers and they were in heaven reading on the leather couch set. There are some movies at the house, but we also used the Blockbuster movie card that was available to us while we stayed there to rent Apollo 13 after our visit to KSC.

There is a 7/11 type of store a few houses away and a bagel shop that opens early in the morning. We had the BEST seafood at Dixie Crossroads, also just across the main thoroughfare..it was so good that we ate there twice.

I highly recommend this property!

Georgeous hide-away in Florida's back-yard

Josee London
Review Submitted: March 12, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
When first inquiring for a quaint, quiet & family friendly property for which I could rest my labor drained body, I never would have thought relaxation & rejuvenation could have awaited me in such a remote location. When first presented with the suggestion of 'Titusville' - I instantly searched my memory for recall but with no avail as to whether I had ever heard of the haven at hand.

Now that I have experienced it's breath taking beach, gorgeous seagull-manned looking bridge & fantastic shopping locations I can truly say that this was a getaway far beyond my expectations. The home in question, was a beautifully laid out plan, with much space for everyone. Gorgeously furnished, a breath taking backyard which lay a kin to a period novel complete with orange tree & all. It had remarkable advantage if you are one looking to bronze in the sun.

I highly recommend this property & urge all considering to visiting Titusville to inquire about this wonderful property.

Sincerely,
Josee.

A Florida relaxing experience

Wisconsinite Amery, WI
Review Submitted: March 7, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
February 2008. This is our first visit to Florida and a new experience escaping -15 degrees in Wisconsin. It seems like June or July and we have to keep reminding ourselves that it si February - not June! We have been comfortable in your house and you have kept it supplied with all the necessities for everyday living. This is a cute place and we can tell you have taken care with it and the many updates. We have enjoyed the smaller community. Orlando was too busy for us. We don't know what the future is, but it would be nice to come back again. Thanks for letting us use your house. I really liked you color scheme. It reminds me of the ocean and the sandy beaches.

Your decorator did an excellent job. It is inviting but not overwhelming.
Climate here is very humid compared to Iowa in winter! We enjoyed our stay at your place. The weather turned out well for golf and our outings to Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach.
Since we left Iowa they have had over 12” of snow plus subzero temperatures. Are we ever going to feel the cold when we get back!
