Reviews of Property: Stunning villa with private pool, full baby pack, minutes to beach & tavernas

We had a superb time! Keith met us at the airport and whisked us to the villa which really is a home from home. Everything you could want is there for adulta and kids alike and all the furnishings are of a high standard.
If you need anything or advice on things to do, just ask Keith! He knows all the decent places to eat and can get you good rates on hire cars! There's also a book in the villa with reviews of good places to go from past guests which is very useful.
The villa's location is great. Local supermarket is no more than 3 minutes walk and the beach is no more than a 10 minute walk. The main strip of bars and restaurants in St George are along the beach front so, again, are very close.
We went in October and the weather was warm during the day (22 degrees) but bit chilly at night.
If you're wondering whether to book it or not, then stop and just book it! You'll be verry happy.

We stayed at Villa Camillia for 2 weeks in August 2009 with our three kids and were delighted. The villa is just as described on the site - bright, airy, cheerful - with a LOVELY pool right outside and plenty of inflatable toys for the kids to splash and swim for hours. The Hanlons have really thought of everything -- the kitchen is fully equipped (which is handy because although the restaurants are tasty, the prices are steep). The A/C is a godsend with the high temps in Greece, although St George South is blessed with a steady breeze. The backyard view is peaceful and relaxing...everything is just right and easy and beautifully maintained. The beach is a 10 minute walk and very good for small children (sandy, shallow water). We had a super great time and would wholeheartedly recommend this holiday to anyone, especially families since the town is very quiet and the tourists here were mostly families. The villa is also pleasantly stocked with kid-friendly DVDs and toys -- a great gift to parents since the kids happily occupied themselves -- even bookshelves for beachside reading. This place is a gem.

I am a regular visitor to St.Geroge South in Corfu and normally stay at my Cousin's appartment, but this year i went over with my Brother, Sister-in-law and my 2 Nieces who are 5 and 7, This Villa was by far the best villa i have ever stayed in anywhere.

Everything has been thought of from the tv, dvd's for both adults and children,Toys games and books for the children to play with, the docking station for music, towels for both the beach/pool and for washing, the kids play area which is safely seperated from the pool, The Air con (which was a God send in the 38-40 degree heat) and straighteners to sort out the hair ready for the evening ahead.

We had a problem with the air con but this was sorted out the same day that we reported it - the up keep of the property is exceptional and we wanted for nothing as it was all provided.
Packing was made a lot easier as there was no need for bulky towels, and most items needed were supplied within the villa.
The 'private pool' was clean and well kept and by far the best entertainment for both the children and adults alike, there were plenty of inflatables for use and the arm bands came in very handy for my 5 year old niece who we struggled to get out of the pool after she'd gained her confidence.
The washing machine came in very handy as well and we washed all our clothes the day befre we left.

The villa itself was very spacious and was like a home from home, which made it very difficult to leave.

It is situated about 10-15 mins walk from the main street of St.Geroge where there are plenty of good places to eat, The Balcony and Panorama are the best places to eat, Los Amigos is a good bar for up to date music and dancing into the early hours of the morning and the 'BEST' English breakfast will be found at Mad Mike's Bar which is about a 4 minute walk up the main road just past Tzvenos on the left.

All in all to sum up the holiday and villa there is only 6 words to describe:

We had lovely time at the villa. The pool and toys kept our children very happy. The property was well-maintened and very clean. The owners were very lovely and helpful people. Restaurants nearby were good (Alex's restaurant was great!), but if you have a rental car you can go and find very lovely tavernas in short distance ( Fish restaurant Leonidas at town called Petriti). We will definitely recomment this property to our friends and relatives. We will definitely come back in future.

Lomamme oli erittäin onnistunut. Villa oli juuri sitä mitä luvattiinkin, ehkä jopa enemmän. Oma yksityinen uima-allas vesileluineen piti lapset tyytyväisinä. Hienoa oli myös muut lelut ja pelit, joita oli saatavilla runsaasti. Lähellä olevat ravintolat olivat hyviä (esim. Alex's ravintola Ag. Georgioksessa), mutta jos olet vuokrannut oman auton löytyy läheltä monia erinomaisia tavernoja ( esim. kalaravintola Leonida's Petritin kylässä). Kerry, Paul ja Keith olivat erittäin ihastuttavaa ja avuliasta väkeä. Suosittelemme kohdetta tutuille ja sukulaisille. Palaamme ehdottomasti tulevaisuudessa villa Camelliaan.

We had a very relaxing stay at Villa Camellia. The property is very well looked after and very comfortable. It is ideally located, just five minutes walk away from tavernas and bars and from the sandy beaches of St Georges South. The booking process was extremely easy and Kerrie and Paul were great to deal with and able to offer help and advice on the area.
