If you need to recharge..............

Review Submitted: September 20, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
Have just returned from our latest visit to Casa Pedro. We have been lucky to have visited twice a year for pretty much the last five years - it is our little bit of heaven and long may it continue. The owners keep it to a very high standard, it is well equipped, comfortable and very visitor-friendly. The views are unchanged from the first time we visited and some of the surrounding areas and mountain drives are just wonderful. Orba is a lovely little town and caters for most needs. Nearby supermarkets are well stocked and restaurants we have visited have always pleased. We are inclined to just laze and alternate between swimmers and pyamas, sitting out on the balcony at night watching the firework displays in surrounding villages on warm, balmy nights. What joy. There is plenty to do and see if you are not as lazy as us. Already looking forward to our next visit! Cannot recommend Casa Pedro highly enough.

My re-charge week in Orba!

I have been fortunate enough to have travelled fairley extensively throughout my life. Time away is precious - so the venue and location have to tick quite a few boxes.
Distance from airport, temperature of destination, own villa and own pool, excellant views, want to mix witht he natives!. Orba - diefinitely ticked all of my boxes and more - especially the calmness and tranquility of the villa. My two teenage daughters were more than happy to just catch up with magazine reading, swimming and developing a fabulous tan! (although is we were there for longer they might have started to get a little restless) We walked into Orba a couple of times for breakfast in the square - coffee and bruchetta - with the chimming of the clock tower and gentle chatter of the locals - will definitley be a memory I'll hold dear for a long time.
Good food is also an essential - the restuarants were adequate in Orba - but there are some excellant others to be be found very close by.
Casa Pedro would be the perfect Villa for a family who are considereing sharing with another family, Grandparents or teenage children with friends - as the Villa is split into two self contained appartments - access from the outside.
To summaries - we all had a marvellous 're-charge' - I have personnally fallen for the area - as it ticks all of the boxes important to me - Peter and Gill have a beautiful VIlla that is clearly loved very much - I am delighted to have found and discoved this beautiful little piece of Spain.
I will be going back!!!

Everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday

What fabulous views, we would sit on the balcony in the evenings watching the sun go down over the mountains and so peaceful. An ideal location for sightseeing with many mountain villages/towns to explore and plenty of scenic walks. The villa was very well equiped and having the pool a real bonus with the weather being beautifully hot and sunny it was great being able to cool down. Orba was just a short walk away with all the essential shops and a variety of bars and good value restaurants.

What can i say!! you will not be disappionted with renting this villa. It really has the Wow factor!. we were so so pleased with this piece of paradise in the sun. To start off with the couple who own the villa are so very laovely and helpful. they really do go out of their way to help you with any enquiries. You do feel pampered from the start.
The pictures on this site really dont do the villa justice, yes it is much more beautiful in real life. you are incased by the mountains, even though you are a slight little hill between them. You have a fantastic welcome pack there when you arrive. With a really great welcome folder of what is on around the area.the pool was really deep and no mosquitoes seemed to bother us.The villa itself inside is so well kept, and immaculate..so a huge WELL DONE to the couple who look after the villa for the owners whilst they are away.
the village itself is very friendly and the locals only too happy to help. There is a good number of ex-pats there , so incase you are a little woried about the language , then fear not! you are not far from the hussel and bussel of denia and the larger towns!!
We will definately be back one day....the villa , and the village have left a huge impression on us.
And the customer service was given with a 101%. i would recommend this to everyone i know , without worrying about disappointment!
rent this villa with confidence.....can you tell we loved it there? My husband has just said....".Now will you sell it to us?" many happy memories and hopefully new ones to add soon. big smiles!!

Casa Pedro

This is as luxurious as holiday accommodation gets, we have been twice, both times its like we are the very first customers, Pedro is sparkling clean and has everything you could want, views breathtaking, completely private and it is kitted out to such a high standard it is comfortable and everything is there that you need, we were happy doing very little in the evenings a short walk to Orba and then back to the balcony! Wecome pack very thoughtfully planned and generous! Dream property, we will be returning.

Our First Choice - The Perfect Holiday

Diddy David Manchester
Review Submitted: July 20, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Choosing a holiday is something that takes time, and to me, it is vital that it tick`s all the right boxes, and this place certainly does.
We stayed here from 21tst- 28th June 2008, and it was at least our 8th time here, visiting 3 times in 2007 and we have already booked next July!
This place is heaven. Breathtaking views from the large terrace, beautiful garden, and an amazing pool, which was so warm, even in the evenings.
The villa is spacious, clean and modern, and the welcome pack includes all the basics you need for when you arrive - Water/bread/milk and wine.
If you want peace, quiet and tranquility, then this place is for you. If you fancy a drink in bar then there are a couple in the village you could visit. Or if you want more, then Benidorm is only a half hour drive away, and hiring a car is recommended, because you`ll see much more.
Javea on the coast is perfect for a meal out, as there are restaurants aplenty, right on the sea front.
I couldn`t recommend this villa enough, it is certainly our first choice if we need a week away from it all. Perfect for a romantic couple, a family or a group of friends. Believe me, you`ll want to go back, I guarantee it.

Great value

Review Submitted: July 16, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
The villa was everything we could have hoped for, in particular the terrace and its view. All our meals were eaten there - until Thursday of the second week when it rained all day. Up to then the weather was wonderful, at times too hot!

We barbecued often and ate out in the village. The Hostal was great value.

No complaints of any kind. Everthing we needed was there, but a car is essential if you want to go anywhere.

We walked on all the ridges visible from the terrace except the Migdia, directly opposite, went down into the Barranco del Infierno, which was very hot and hard work climbing out, and again climbed Montgo.

Recommended for any kind of holiday you could want. Active on the hills or on your bike, or simply relaxing on the terrace.

Hope to be back at some stage.
