The views of the sunsets over the South China Sea are amazing. This was the sight that greeted us when we arrived at the apartment. It's a short 10-15 minute taxi ride away from the airport. The apartment was clean and tidy with bed linen and towels provided, together with shampoo and shower gel which was a nice touch.

The location of the apartment is fantastic. There are really good restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. If you like shopping, there are loads of shops within walking distance too.

We particularly loved the open market and dined on fresh fish and tea tarik.

The people are wonderful. There's taxi rank just around the corner and the drivers will take you anywhere you want.

The apartment has a pool and jacuzzi which are outside and again they are lovely and clean.

We'd definitely stay at this apartment again. There's just nothing negative I can say about it, or Borneo which is absolutely beautiful.

4 of us (from Bonnie Scotland) stayed in this apartment for 3 mights in October. We had loads of space and found the apartment to be clean and well maintained with everything we required. Great value for money too.

All the details porvided were accurate and helpful. It was so central - everything was close by - busses, taxis, restaurants, bars and shops.

I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment to friends and relatives.

Unfortunately we did not manage to see one of the beautiful sunsets during our stay - as we had rain every evening! However I know they do have lovely sunsets in KK as we saw a few the following week.

One request we have is that reading lamps would make the living room and bedrooms more pleasant to relax in. Apart from that - everything was excellent.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your suggestion

Great apartment in a fantastic location which worked well as a base to do things locally (10-15 mins to jesselton pier for boats to the marine park islands) and further afield (taxi/bus to kinabulu national park for the mountain is cheap and accessible enough to visit the area independently).

It's also of a very good size to accomodate a family or individuals as we were, the sunset views from the 10th floor are particularly attractive. The apartment was well provided for with regard to bedding, towels and even shampoo and shower gel and the pool and jacuzzi are very well maintained.

In my opinion in comparison to hotels of a similar standard this apartment represents incredible value for money and I am so glad we decided to stay here rather than at a relatively overpriced hotel.

One suggestion (and it's a tiny one!!) is that the bedrooms could do with a reading lamp each and the living area could also do with a lamp as the lighting is a bit bright, however it's not really a major issue.
Owner's Response: thank you - we will be sorting out lamps very soon!

We stayed in this apartment (10th floor) in July this year. I would agree with the comments from other guests .This is an ideal location for KK. You are handy for shops, restaurants, taxis and tours. Most tours pick you up from the apartment anyway . The apartment is very central , very clean and well maintained with excellent air con facilities. The balcony has great views and is ideal for watching sunsets. The pool is lovely and not that busy -when we were there we had it to ourselves one day and on other days there were only a few children using it.
Marcia is very helpful and on hand quickly if needed. We had a power cut when we were there and Marcia had it fixed for us within the hour. Great service .
I cant recommend this apartment highly enough. There were onlt two of us staying but with four or six it would be really good value for money, Even for two it was better than some of the hotels and it offered much more in the way of facilities.

As a 40 something year old lady travelling with her mum, we found this apartment to be in an excellent location to use as a base camp for the many tours we made in and around Sabah and for relaxing by the pool. Many shops, restaurants and bars are just across the road. Taxis are cheap and can be arranged by the concierge staffs at the front of the complex but remember to confirm the price before you get in. eg. MYR 20 to the airport which is a 15 minute drive.

As described, the apartment is fully furnished to meet all needs, is maintained to a high standard and for those who need internet access this is available for a nominal extra fee. Its uninterrupted views of the South China Sea and Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (which is a definite place not to be missed) make a sight to see during the sunset. .

The owner provided excellent customer service and the booking process was easy and straight forward, all queries where answered promptly within 24hours and being greeted by a family member was a nice personal touch.

As for Borneo it is a wonderful holiday destination with friendly locals, plenty to see and do for people with all interests. I would thoroughly recommend a visit and a stay at this apartment.

Thank you to the owner and her family for their help and hospitality.

Conveniently Located

This apartment is conveniently located within 5 minutes walk from shopping areas, banks and money changers, waterfront restaurants and taxi services if required. The property is maintained well and the owner provided great customer service via email and in person through a family member living in KK. Our transit from airport was arranged and we were met and transported to the complex without hassle.

The apartment is furnished well and all the conveniences are there to make ones stay enjoyable and relaxed. No phone however, but internet access was offered for a small fee. The complex has a pool which we used quite extensively. Great views from the 10th floor.

The only negative experience, which is not any fault of the owner, is the fact that a hotel sub lets some of the apartments. During our stay, many were filled over capacity. Some of the peaceful environment was lost as a result.
Owner's Response: We understand that steps have been taken to ensure other units adhere to standard occupancy and subsequent guests at our unit have been happy.
