Great apartment, great location

We didn't quite expect a little cloud and rain at the beginning of our September holiday, but it was a great prompt to go out and see the gorgeous island in our hired Suzuki Jimny - very useful for the unmade up roads that tempt you to the most remote beaches and hilltops. Driving there is very safe and easy - and fun!
The apartment was exactly what we wanted - immaculately clean and well equipped, in a fab location, overlooking the village one way and sea the other.
It couldn't have been a nicer walk in the daytime or evenings down to the seafront and all the tavernas, and the walk back up made you feel you'd at least exercised off some of the great food and wine.
The terrrace was great for relaxing at any time of day in the sun or shade, drinking wine or playing scrabble and backgammon. Our cooking only amounted to scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, but if you wanted to cook a gourmet meal, the kitchen would be a great place for it!
Bedrooms were light and airy and benefited from mosquito nets behind patio doors that could be opened like windows.
We were lucky enough to be there when the owners were staying in the villa and they, and Carol who helped with housekeeping, couldn't have been more helpful.
We'd all recommend the apartment - with some sadness that we eventually had to leave it to come home!

Owner's Response: Even with the unseasonal September weather Andros has lots to offer if you are prepared to doing a bit of exploring and there are many modes of transport available. Our local knowledge is for sharing as we want you to enjoy your holiday to its best.
