Reviews of Property: Lie back and relax - Spacious Villa with private plunge pool and garden.

Começo pela proprietária, simplesmente espectacular, simpática, muito discreta mas sempre por perto, caso seja necessário alguma coisa. A casa, bom... dificil descrever, simplesmente fabulosa, com todas as comodidades e onde nada falta, quartos amplos e acolhedores, uma excelente disposição de todas as divisões, na minha opinião a melhor onde alguma vez passei férias. O espaço envolvente é perfeito, grande jardim para as crianças brincarem, muita sombra e muito sossego para quem precisa de descansar. A casa encontra-se numa excelente zona do Algarve, longe de confusão, mas perto de tudo. Em Tavira, perto do novo centro comercial Gran Plaza elegemos o restaurante 3 Palmeiras, como o melhor serviço de rodízio de peixe, a um preço verdadeiramente tentador, na média dos 8 euros por pessoa com tudo incluido. No que respeita a praias, elegemos a Ilha da Fuzeta como uma praia verdadeiramente paradisíaca, com excelentes infraestruturas e uma temperatura de água a fazer lembrar as águas das ilhas caribanhas. Muito ficará certamente por descrever, mas uma certeza prevalece: Voltaremos pela certa e recomendamos vivamente. Mais uma vez o nosso muito obrigado à D. Sarah por nos ter proporcionado uma semana tão agradável. Se todas as pessoas fossem assim como a D. Sarah este mundo seria melhor. Bem haja!!

I've been spending my holidays in this country house for about 10 years and love it. Without luxury, but with everything that is necessary, including enough space for 6 people, the silence from nature, a nice garden with grass and a plunge pool, lots of shadows from big trees, an open roof (açoteia), a barbecue and recently wireless internet and a new kitchen. It's only 5-10 minutes from the next beach (Praia da Fuzeta). Great!!!

Everything about the house is fantastic. It was lovely and clean and well maintained. All the rooms are large so there is plenty of space for families. The location is fantastic. Not too far from any beaches, shops and the airport but just far enough for those who want to be isolated, away from other tourists. The facilities inside the house are excellent with a cooker, washing machine, TV with satellite and, most importantly, a lovely little swimming pool that is great for all ages. There is a BBQ outside too, and the garden is lovely with lemon and orange trees growing nearby. I would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to book up again!!

We spend a week in a really beautyful and relaxing place and in good care. We had the place all to ourself in peace and quiet but if there were any wishes or questions, the owner would not hesitate to come around. She was the most helpful and kind person. The house is placed in a field of oranges and lemons which offered freshly squeezed orange juice every day and fresh lemon for our many meals of fish. The place is amazing, and we will definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic location, great place, wonderful scenery!

Villa Berlengas is a perfect "get away from it all" holiday home. Set amongst orange grooves with fig & carob trees it was truly delightful. The property was spotless and the garden beautiful but ony 5-10 mins drive to nearby towns.
Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah - even arranging for a lift to and from a local restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday.
Although the weather wasn't too kind it certainly didn't stop us visiting nearby places including a visit across the border to Ayamonte in Spain (half hours drive). Nearby Fuseta, Tavira and Olhao were also worth a visit. Train into Faro (nearby train station) cost 5.50Euros for 2 return. A bike ride around the eco route on the coast (good bikes supplied) was also interesting - to see salt flats and bird life.
Angelina's resturant in Fuseta cost less than 30 Euros for pre starters, main course, pud, coffee and wine for 2 for evening meal.
Berlengas is an animal lovers paradise. Hope to return next year. Liz & Russell

A rainy overcast day is not to every ones liking, but this not Britain its the Algarve !there's a certain ambience that only can be captured in foreign climes,here in the depths of an Agarvian winter you are surrounded by the lush green vegetation,the vast expanse of near empty beaches and the quietness of it all..,fear not..... you are not alone the main tourist season is but a faded memory but life goes on ,the cafes hum with the tittle tattle of every day life and there plenty to do and see. So there's no need to hurry Berlengas warmly awaits your return, a little oasis in the sea of tranquillity; the only hard choice is do you stay in and cook a meal and snuggle up to the log fire that beckons your attention with a bottle of good Portuguese wine or eat out...............lifes tough enough,i think I stay iand enjoy all that the house has to offer.

The house has a lot of space, a very peaceful spacious unique garden, everything is nice and clean. Simply perfect. Sarah has been very, very kind to us and our little baby. We would like to say thank you for a extraordinary time at Casa Berlenga. We will come again ...
