Positive Experience

My friend and I had a very positive experience at this apartment. It was extremely quiet, with a park on one side, the Thames on another and a courtyard on the third. You could hear birds chirping, a rarity in noisy London. The flat was very clean, well equipped and maintained. The proximity to Greenwich was a plus, as that's a spot you might not otherwise explore. Fantastic buildings, the Observatory, some terrific restaurants and an amazing outdoor covered market are must-sees.
The main negative is the distance to central London. We found the water transport to be the best choice and it's a good 30+ minutes once you board at Greenwich. On the other hand, it's a beautiful trip past all the great sites on both banks of the river, and you get to travel in a calm environment, in contrast to the Tube experience. To me the distance was more than outweighed by the serenity of the flat, but it's a choice you have to make.
Another thing to check into is the arrangements for pickup of keys and navigation from Canary Wharf to the flat. Our taxi driver had a hard time finding the place that had the keys, and he had no idea where Luralda Wharf was once we had them. Make sure you get very clear directions all the way from the train to the door of the apartment.
Owner's Response: As these guests have experienced the loctaion of this apartment is fantastic and the river travel just the best way to get to the West End via all the famous tourist attractions - Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London etc.
