Reviews of Property: Luxurious 3rd floor app, enjoying country views, close to beach

We - parents with two sons (10 + 11 years) from Germany - made two weeks holidays in August 2009. What should I say: Everything was perfect! The flat is really nice, very good furnished and very clean. Everything you need is nearby and Xlendi is a little town that give you a really good holiday feeling. We like it to sit in the little harbour at the evening to look our sons fishing the first time in theier lives. We rent a car to go around and there are many interesting things to see (Viktoria, Ramla Bay, Azzure Window, Sun Blas Bay etc.).
Caroline and Frankie are absolutley friendly and take care for every detail.
We think back with mixed feelings: Smiling, because our beautiful two weeks give us really much power and crying, because the next holidays are far away...!

This is an excellent apartment very close to the sea and amenities in the bay of Xlendi. The transfer/welcome from Frankie and Caroline got the holiday off to a good start with the rest of our time there being made easy by the good facilities offerred in the apartment. There is a good kitchen with large fridge/freezer etc and a good sized dining room. The air con did a good job keeping the apartment cool during the days where the temperature was about 32C. I would recommend this apartment for families and couples although not for people who have any difficulty in negotiating stairs as it is on the 2nd floor with no lift access.

A great apartment in a lovely location. The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful, we were picked up at the airport, driven to the apartment and had some food etc prepared for us when we got there.There were lots of thoughtful touches such as the DVD's and boardgames. The local restaurants were fab, would recommend Ta Karolina and Ic-cima in particular. The bus services were limited because it was before the 24th of May but was still good and we got to see plenty of Gozo, and got to Malta and Comino with ease. Would definately encourage a trip to Comino. Only complaint would be, with a week long stay we would have appreciated more towels & a hairdryer. Otherwise this is a fantastic, spacious and comfortable property, with friendly and helpful owners, and we would definately recommend it.

This property was perfect for our visit to Xlendi. Frankie and Caroline made us feel very welcome, picking us up at the ferry and taking us to the apartment where they provided us with a lovely lunch, complete with coffee and wine...very welcoming and much appreciated. The apartment is as described, very clean, bright, tastefully furnished and with a very well equiped kitchen, if you did want to cook. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony every morning in the sunshine. The location is perfect, restaurants, bars and bus stop are all just a minute away. The bay at Xlendi has a wonderful atmosphere and is just around the corner from the apartment, perfect for drinks in one of the bars while enjoyng the last of the evening sunshine. Highly recommended.

A spacious and comfortable apartment that we felt contained all our requirements.Frankie and Caroline made us feel very welcome and it was a pleasure to meet them. A relaxing break,the sun on our backs and the local food was delicious! We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely little cottage style apartment. Perfect for a relaxing break, very close to the Xlendi bay, with lovely restaurants, places to snorkel and swim. Frankie and Caroline have done a great job in ensuring your stay is comfortable and you feel at home and relaxed in the surroundings. A considerate little apartment that we highly recommend.

A super holiday. We are very grateful for all which you have done. The apartment was above our expectations,clean,spacious and very well equipped.Tea/coffee and a light snack was waiting for us which was exelent as we had a very late arrival
