Reviews of Property: 3 Bedroom penthouse in Qawra with stunning seaview

This apartment is exactly as described and photographed. Mandy and Richard were fantastic, very friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment is great with two balconies either side so that with the doors open you get a lovely breeze flowing through.

The area has everything accessible and is not as built up as many other areas on the east coast. We had a hire car so didn't use the buses and it was very easy getting around and about although some of the roads are an adventure in their own right.

We stayed in Mandy & Richard’s apartment for 15 days in the middle of June. I must honestly say that it’s a fantastic place! First of all, it’s big enough for a family (there were 4 of us) and has all the amenities anyone – I believe – would require. Second is that it’s in the proximity to everything you need – supermarket, shops, restaurants, beach, bus station (even if we didn’t need one because we rented a car). Third – it’s QUIET in spite of all those “proximities” written above and as soon as it’s a penthouse – no one looks at your window! You are above it all – for me personally it’s the best place to be! And last but not least – the view is magnificent! Both terraces have a sea view and especially one of them – the best place to watch sunset with the cup of coffee or a glass of wine! We’re looking forward to come again. And don’t forget that such a tiny island has so many things to offer! Neolithic sites were of the greatest importance for us – we didn’t miss Summer Solstice on 21st of June (I feel sorry for everyone in Stonehenge?, we had it all on Malta!!!)

Gail,Les+girls from Liverpool would like to first apologise for the delay in writing this review,we where in Malta 14 may till 28 may,we stayed the first week in Mellieha and the second in Qawra in Richard+Mandys beautiful penthouse,we go a lot to Malta and this apartment would take some beating,we will definetly go again and reccomend it to our family and friends.The place is so big,light and airy,the views from both very large balconies is amazing,we took lots of photos from there,even the sun setting,the two lots of patio doors and fast fans kept us lovely and cool,the hole place was very clean and bright,we were right in the best part as we had shops,bars,bus station,supermarkets amongst other things on our doorstep but being on the top floor didnt hear any noise at all and it was lovely at night seeing it all lit up and theres a car park opposite so no problems parking either,it has everything you need,a home from home,even got a bottle of wine on arrival,we give it a 5 star rating,thanks Richard+Mandy for our lovely holiday,the only thing i found could be improved is the speed of the bedroom fans,if they could go a little faster,regards,Gail+family

perfect location,very big app.,good for family, who is not going to cook . Some not nice thing were found. App. was not clean ,dust everywhere, even on the shelves with glasses. Kitchen wasn't ready( no new sponge,durty towels ,plates and ...),broken iron board and table on the terrace as well. No gas in barbecue, so you need your own). No soup and liquid for toilet, in bathroom tube i found absolutely awful mat for your safety ^-))....( just through it out on the terrace)Windows were opening hardly. Mold in the coners. No condition( just fan), no dishwasher, no DVD, no TV chanels in english

ants inside my bedroom, not to much, but enough for became friends with them. I don not know may be it is just normal for maltise, but i have rented app. in Paris, Vienna,Ireland, Karlovy Vary and never see the same amount of problem in one place

We are very pleased with the penthouse. It was clean, well-maintained and the location is perfect. The water preassure in the showers could be better, but that is probably more of a general Maltese problem. The penthouse is close to the bus terminus (such cool buses!), shops and restaurants.

Mandy and Richard made us feel very welcome and they phoned us a couple of times to make sure that there were no problems.

We really look forward to visiting Malta again!

We have just returned from a two week stay in this lovely penthouse.
Richard and Mandy the owners are excellent hosts nothing too much trouble. Richard even took time from his own holiday to ring to check everything ok. They made the process very easy emailing along the way to give details of arrangements. They also organised our transfers from the airport with a lovely lady called Amanda the service was very efficient and a good price.

The property was clean and well maintained with all the equipment plus more needed for a comfortable stay and excellent views of the sea. The bedrooms are large with lots of hanging space. We saw an air show whilst there and got the best view from our balcony of the red arrows as they did their display.
The property description was spot on and the location perfect for all amenities just a very short walk from the bus terminal which is easy to use and travels to all areas of the island.
I advise you get a timetable from the terminus as the ones in the shops are not always upto date.
You can get a bus to the ferry terminal and hop over to Gozo with ease, well worth a visit.
Get the taxi into Victoria from the ferry terminus in Gozo and if you agree a price the driver will take you around the island, but agree this first and barter the price.Not cheap but well worth it.

There are a few good restaurants the Clara May on the corner offers good value and good food, try the Clara May steak special.
There is a supermarket nearby called trolleys that stocks almost everthing you need.

All in all we had a great stay and would recommend this penthouse to anyone.

Excelente apartamento para las vaciones en malta. Los propietarios son gente muy atenta y amable y se preocupan por que todo este correctamente para que inicies tus vacaciones.
El apartamento es tal como se aprecia en las fotografías. Está bien situado y bien comunicado, tiene al lado la estación de autobuses con rutas a todos los destinos turísticos de interes.
Es una zona relativamente tranquila y se puede dormir sin molestias de locales cercanos.

Excellent apartments. I agree with previous author (dreac300) - very good conditions. Very hospitable and helpful owners. Thank you Richard for solicitude.
May recommend for all which want to spend nice vacations in Malta.
