We stayed while my husband worked with the symphony orchestra at the Disney Theatre. It was easy explore Los Angeles & Hollywood from the apartment. The street the apartment was on had some beautiful art galleries, great cafe's and wine bars. Best of all was the delicious Danish bakery downstairs with tables on the sidewalk. We went there every morning for coffee, fresh baked croissants and people watching.

This is a great apartment in a newly developed area in downtown LA. Beautifully presented, very modern and very well stocked with everything you would need for a short or medium term stay. The booking process was easy, and owner very helpful. We had two teenagers who slept in the lounge, but it is probably best suited for a couple. Large shopping mall is due to be built nearby soon. Public transport is great. Altogether a memorable stay in a highly recommended apartment. Thank you.

Great spot for mixing business & leisure

I was attending a business conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center and brought my family. We found the location to be very convenient. I could walk to the conference center. While I was there, my family went sightseeing. Beyond business, we spent the remainder of our trip in touring celebrity mansions, Universal Studios, and Santa Monica beach area. This apartment has a clean modern feel. It was light and airy and very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet yet vibrant with a mix of new luxury restaurants and old establishments. There's a nice park just a block away with a children's play area and a coffee bistro. We'll be back for sure!

We spent a "car-free" week on our second honeymoon exploring Los Angeles by metro train & bus, and LOVED the convenient location. The loft had a nice clean, new feel and we appreciated all the extras like the tote bag with beach mats, towels and mini cooler for a day at the beach. It was great to have the option of not having to drive in Los Angeles during traffic times. Wow, the subway trains are clean, new and safe as well as the rapid express busses. Buying a day pass for unlimited travel was the most economical way to get around. We only had to walk a few blocks to so many great restaurants like the Palm Steakhouse & Roy's, an upscale Ralph's grocery store and Famima (our favorite take out food place!!) We're from New York and love culture and bargain hunting. The neighborhood was full of hidden delights! 11th Ave fashion district had plenty of great deals for clothes, luggage and accessories. We also walked to the Nokia theatre to see a concert, MOCA--museum of modern art, the ballet & symphony at Walt Disney Symphony hall and the open air farmers market. Since the train was so close, we tool a day trip to Disneyland's California Adventure.
The best things we liked about the loft was the floor to ceiling glass walls, incredibly comfortable bed, and the outdoor grills on the pool lounge level. We love grilling and cooking, so the kitchen was also a plus. The owners were very gracious and accommodating, and recommended several great "local secrets" and cool places to go that we wouldn't have found in the tourist guides. We definitely recommend this to any couples who love exploring LA!
