Perfect Home from Home

This bright modern fully equipped apartment was absolutely perfect for our week in Krakow.

Location - excellent for train station, shopping Galleria, taxis, trams and of course the short walk to the main square.

Service - Janusz was there on time to meet us with the keys and was very friendly and full of useful information. We appreciated the tea/coffee, milk/juice/water & rolls etc.

Comfort - lovely clean spacious rooms with comfortable seating areas and entertainment facilities and plenty of storage/hanging space. Beautiful bright kitchen with everything you could ever need if you wanted to prepare your own meals. Big cosy bathroom in excellent condition and of course the washer/dryer was an added bonus when staying for more than just a weekend - as well as the large drying screen and ironing facilities.

Having lived in Krakow previously for 15 months, we didn't do the usual tourist sights again but instead revisited some favourite local haunts and looked up friends during our stay - as well as a few days work for me in the office. Leaving my husband behind in the comfortable flat was a much better arrangement than in a hotel.

Some lovely traditional Polish restaurants but if you get fed up of Polish food and prefer to try some authentic Italian meals in restaurants with Italian owners then Aqua e Vino and Al Dente are hard to beat - we left the cards/leaflets on the shelving.

After initial concerns about the 2 flights of stairs, it certainly got easier as the week went on so don't let that put you off. Felt very secure with all the locks and bolts and no noise from neighbours (at least during our stay).

So glad we found this wonderful place - hope Barbara allows us to come back to use it time and time again. It's even better than the photos show!

Had the best time hear, apartment is huge, the pictures don't do it justice! Janusz picked us up from the airport and told us everything we could do and how to do it our very own tour guide. There is everything you need in the apartment, fully equipped kitchen including kettle, microwave, big bathroom with lovely shower and even a hairdryer and washer/dryer. Lounge is massive with tv, dvd, hifi, the sofa bed was very comfy.
I travelled with my dad who took the bedroom he said it was very comfortable.
You are just 5mins from the main square, 10mins from the train station/bus station, 5mins from big indoor mall, 10mins from wawel castle and 15mins from Kazimierz. A taxi to Kazimierz is just 15zl and takes 5mins.
Some great restaurants to visit include: Ariel (Kazimierz) and Cyrano de Bergerac (2mins from apartment) both lovely the 2nd its a Michelin star restaurant.
You'll love Krakow and will enjoy it more stayin here.
There is also central heatin for the winter months.

Great weekend in Krakow

Excellent location and apartment well equipped - exactly as advertised. Would definately stay again. Easy access to trains and public transport. Used Crackow Tours for Salt Mines and Auswitz, but the latter was a bit rushed so would advise going by public transport. Went to Ghetto area but probably would have been better with a guide. Good shopping centre and loads of nice bars etc hidden away in the alleys. Thanks to Teresa for the transfers and the bread and milk etc!

Excellent apartment 5/8 minutes brisk walk from the central square and 10 minutes from the bus/railway station. Located on a quiet street we found the apartment as described on the holiday rentals website. Indeed bread, milk, coffee and cheese were supplied when we arrived hungry and thirsty. The owner dealt promptly with all queries and certainly would recommend the apartment to friends. If going to Auswitz then go by bus which takes takes you right into the camp.Bus tickets can be bought from the driver. The railway station is a 15 minute walk away. A harrowing but essential experience.

This aptmt was spotlessly clean, in a fantastic position near the old town, bus and train station. It was also quite large as well as being warm and cosy. Would stay here again in a flash- highly recommended.

Just back from 4 days in Krakow. The apt is very spacious and modern. It has a huge bathroom with washer/dryer, beautiful new kitchen, bedroom and spacious lounge with TV DVD movies and CD player. It is less than 5 mins walk from the main square Rynek Glownyand 15 mins to old town Kazmierz. There are 2 supermarkets next door open 24 hours. Teresa met us at the airport, she speaks very good english and took us direct to the apt. The apt had tea coffee soft toilet rolls! washing up liquid etc everything you need and Teresa had kindly bought fresh bread rolls, thankyou. IT was a pleasure to relax and take your time in the mornings. Would definitly recommend this apt and Krakow for great holiday. Thanks Barbara and David, and look forward to returning next year,
