Dream Villa

My husband and I stayed at Villa Laura from 24 May 2009 during our honeymoon trip to Italy and we had a wonderful time. Laura was the perfect hostess and served us with some delicious home-made meals most nights for a very reasonable price. The villa is very spacious and well-equipped. The swimming pool is very clean. The garden is a great size and has a bar and barbeque area, plus two hammocks. If we were to stay again, we would hire a car to get around, although there are shops, cafes, market and supermarkets which are about a 10 minute walk from the villa. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay at the villa again - it is excellent value for money.

Wonderful vacation in Rome

Villa Laura is an excellent place to stay if you want to live in a suburban setting, relax by a wonderfully big pool and have an easy access to Roman marvels. Don't forget the nearby etruscan sites, which are really worth seeing! Laura herself is really helpful and able to give good advice whatever you wish to see or do during your vacation. She is also an excellent cook. My two children (and husband, too), 12 and 15 years, very much enjoyed the pool, which, unlike in hotels, was available 24-7. The garden is also very nice and well equipped. The kitchen is OK for cooking meals and there is a good supermarket nearby. The minimal disadvantages are the following: the separate bedroom does not have a door and a part of the living room has unusually low ceiling.

Lovely Villa to relax and very close to Rome

Villa Donna Laura is a wanderful place to spend some days relaxing on the pool, sunbathing or just reading on the garden. The house is very clean and nicely decorated and the gardens and swimming pool are fantastic.
The owner, Laura, is very nice and helpful and will give you tips on places to visit and anything you need. Rome is just 25 min by car or you can go by train from a nearby station; very handy.

We went with our 1 year and a half old boy and had a very good time.

Highly recommended!!

We stayed at Villa Laura in May (with 2 adults and 3 kids). The house is very comfortable, clean and very well maintained. The outside area is absolutely fantastic!! Very good size pool, great garden with sunloungers, dining table, pingpong table. The owners are lovely, very welcoming. Also, Laura, the owner, cooks the most wonderful meals on request. She cooked for us on several days and everything was delicious. The village has a very good shopping centre with all kinds of shops. Rome is half an hour drive away. We would certainly recommend this villa! We had a wonderful holiday here.
