Reviews of Property: Apartment in St Paul recently renovated to a very high standard.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful apartment. Everything was just perfect and we could not have asked for better accommodations. It was immaculate,beautifully decorated, well equipped, and cozy when the weather turned cool. We were very impressed by the comfortable bed and the beautiful bathrooms. We felt it was as wonderful as any high quality hotel.

Both of us especially enjoyed meeting and visiting with Melissa.She provided us with a much appreciated welcome basket and helpful information about the area. Throughout all of our trip arrangements she was always quick to respond to any of our questions and eager to assist us in any way she could.

The apartment is in an excellent area for seeing the Cote d'Azure. We especially enjoyed touring the Ephrusssi de Rothschild Villa and Gardens as well as the beaches and town of Antibes. Monaco is a short train ride and an easy day trip.We also loved being so close to St. Paul de Vence and its great restaurants and shops. The view of the town from the apartment is lovely.

We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a special place to stay.

Just returned home from a fabulous relaxing week at The Gate Lodge.
The property was immaculately clean and provided everything you needed for a week of blissful relaxation. The fixtures and fittings were of an extremely high standard and there was nothing missing! Really appreciated the china cups and saucers which are sadly seldom used today! The excellent large swimming pool was quiet and very well maintained and a relaxing place to lie out.

The village was close by but not really in walking distance at night, although we enjoyed barbequing and watching the sun go down.

We look forward to returning as soon as possible!

Just returned from a lovely holiday in St.Paul. Great appartment, everything you could wish for, a real home from home. Really enjoyed the terrace with wonderful views of St. Paul. Very much appreciated the welcome pack on arrival and the friendliness and helpfulness of Melissa and Michael. Couldn't have been better!

I spent a glorious week at this property, relaxing and enjoying the peace and luxury it offers. The proximity to the village is perfect for daily exercise, and there are so many possible places to visit, there is no chance that people who want to be very busy will be bored. I enjoyed the sense of security as I was there alone, and whilst the property is near the road it did not create problems with noise for me. Every thought has gone into equipping the apartment(which feels like a small house) with not only everything you might need but of very high quality, which is much appreciated and not very often the case. All the booking arrangements were carried out with ease and professionalism. All my questions were answered and as no doubt will be reported there were many!! Highly recommended and will certainly go back - preferably as soon as possible!

The Gatehouse is a perfect blend - the quality of a luxury hotel combined with the space and privacy your own villa - for two. It is very stylish and the owners have thought of everything. It is spotlessly clean and everything is of highest quality and up to date. It feels very private and luxurious. It is in a gated enclave of homes and the grounds include a large pool with sunloungers which was great for relaxing. Having English language TV was a bonus too. There is a really good barbecue & a large private outdoors area - so it really is like having your own home in the South of France.

We spent a week at the Gatehouse in June and loved every moment. The apartment is only a 10 minute drive from Nice airport and yet is in the most beautiful French countryside. Short driving distance to the coast, Monoco, Antibes, and San Tropez, or the perfect place for trips to the beautiful hilltop villages, Eze, Gordon, Torrettes and of course a pleasant walk to the gorgeous village of St. Paul.
We spent the warm evenings on the terrace, enjoying the local wines, the great BBQ and the fabulous view. We also visited some of the many restaurants and sampled the wonderful French cuisine. Truly an amazing place to stay, we will definately be back.

The Gatehouse is in a marvellous location - it is just a short walk from St Paul and is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Provence countryside and its perched villages; as well as being close to Nice, Cannes and Monaco.
The very comfortable apartment is superbly furnished and equipped (including fly screens and air conditioning). It also has a very spacious and shaded outside terrace which provides a lovely tranquil setting for your morning croissant, reading your books or evening BBQ.
As well as offering a fantastic apartment, Melissa and Michael provide a great service from booking, directions, thoughtful welcome pack, friendly greeting and helpful advice.
Everything about the Gatehouse and the location draws you into an ambience of relaxation which is impossible to resist.
We had two fantastic weeks and will be back.

The appartment is newly renovated, very luxurious and beautifully styled. Very clean, complete interior, cuddly beds, modern kitchen will bring the perfect holiday feelings to you in this extraordinarily ambience. Not to forget that at every window you will find a fly screen, which is very important sometimes. The appartment is inside of a secured object.
The kitchen is completely supplied with high quality dishes and cuttlery, the electrical equipment is also in high quality.

It is an extraordinary appartment in South of France. You will like it!
