Reviews of Property: Large family house in picturesque village near mountains, lakes and rivers.

I would highly recommend Ljubi Dom for all ages and all types of holiday desires-it really is a terrific place that suits everyone from treks up into the mountains to relaxing with a book by the river. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The house was perfect, very spacious, clean and had everything you needed. It was so peaceful too and just lovely waking up to the sound of the river. The local restaurant serves the freshest food with enormous helpings! There is a sweet local bar and shop and all within walking distance.
I will defintely be returning-a top holiday!

We spent a week in Ljubi Dom over Christmas as part of a large family group.
The house is lovely; very comfortable, well-maintained and works perfectly for a large group, with separate areas for those wishing to escape.
The village is so lovely - beautiful setting and with nice local bar and restaurant.
The skiing and walking were great.
Would highly recommend.

I stayed in Ljubi Dom on a large family holiday. We were a real mix of ages and there was something here for everyone. There are lots of lovely walks, some great local bars and the owners have left a book packed with information on things to do and see during the stay.
I couldn't get over how lovely the house was. It is large and comfortably held 9 adults and 2 children for the week. We had more family members joining us for the holiday and the owners very kindly recommended a local B&B so that they would be near us (a 2 minute walk in fact). The people in the village are extrememly friendly, so be prepared to drink pear schnapps!
We went in winter, so took advantage of the skiing nearby but would love to come back for a different season as it really is beautiful here. Looking into organising a holiday with friends here later in the year.

I spent a fantasic Christmas holiday out here with a larger group of Family. The house was presented beautifully for our arrival and accommodated all of us comfortably within the house. The living areas and kitchen are great socailising spaces and also allow people time out to relax and recover. There are lots of out door activities very close by and the drives around the area are easy and beautiful at the same time. The village and people there are very friendly and happy to help out. There are lots of eateries and bars within the village and a tourist information point which meant advice was readily avaliable to english speakers. We would recommend this house and spot without fail to a family group or group of friends as the house and location are magnificent!!

I have finally got around to writing this review! We had a fabulous Summer holiday in Ljubidom. I went with my son Max, 7 and my partner and his 2 boys. We wanted to have a holiday where we could all do activities together in a house big enough that we had our own space when relaxing at home. This fitted the bill perfectly, we went on loads of trips in the day, waling, cycling and swimming and had lots of fun relaxing and playing games in the house.
It was perfect. Can I recommend getting the house keeper to cook you a few meals at such a bargain price and absolutely delicious!

What a wonderful holiday. What a beautiful house! We had such happy times and had all the information we needed at our fingertips for lots of activities.
My family and I hope that we can come again to enjoy the mountains, fabulous food and peaceful river.

I visited Ljubidom in March with my husband, 2 children , sister and parents! We were looking for a reasonably priced ski holiday and an escape from city life. We certainly found it. We arrived to find a perfectly prepared house with a delicious meal and essentials waiting for us. We had 3 fantastic days in Golte where we hired a ski instructor for the children, 19E for an hour and all their kit whilst we had a couple of hours enjoying the skiing ourselves, followed by an excellent lunch in the restaurant. We also spent a couple of days in an brilliant resort in Kravavech. When not skiing we went on fabulous walks and just chilled out in the lovely house, enjoying all the facilities there.
We would highly recommend this house for renting.

My family (3 generations) and I had our best holiday at Ljubi Dom. Not only was the house spacious and spotlessly clean, it was fully equipped with all the modern day necessities for a family home. The village is beautiful and we found all the locals without exception very friendly and eager to help in whatever way they could. We had a great day white water rafting and several very happy days at two local health spas. The restaurants are very reasonably priced - it was cheaper to eat out than in! And the food was fantastic, fresh local produce cooked to perfection and presented with love and care. One reastaurant was closed but opened just for us! Not something we are used to in the UK. All the attractions and things to do are presented in great detail in a very helpful folder in the house. We are already on a count down until our next visit this Summer - hooray.
