Two weeks in August 09

We had the loveliest time staying in this spacious, airy and spotlessly clean apartment. The welcome from Adam and Theresa was like a homecoming after our journey from England. The kitchen was easy to use (though for a two week holiday in that heat we could have done with an American size fridge!) and it was useful to have the washing machine. The balcony was huge, and great to sit out on for breakfast and evening meals overlooking the gorgeous gardens and the Mediterranean sea. We had record high temperatures but the apartment was well kitted out with fans, and well designed to cope in those conditions. The bathroom is really beautiful. Our son enjoyed watching kids satellite TV, which was useful for us, as there is no DVD player. The restaurant/cafe by the pool was a useful spot for us all to chill after a day at the beach or an excursion and the staff there were extremely friendly and accommodating - the food's pretty good too! There are loads of restaurants and beaches to choose from nearby. And the supermarket is open all the time if you want to eat in. Beware if you don't like washing up though as there is no dishwasher! We enjoyed the Riviera Playa and visited it several times as the sand was good for making sandcastles, and there are a few rocks pools as well. Even in the height of the season we had no trouble getting sunbeds under an umbrella. From the Miraflores we were able to easily visit Benalmadena (the cable car and the Selwo Marine Park, Fuengirola (a boat trip), Mijas Pueblo (highly recommended) and even Gibraltar (don't forget your passports!). For family accommodation this apartment comes highly recommended.
Owner's Response: Hi Howard, Lindy and Gabriel

Review Submitted: November 16, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
We were 4 aduls and a 1½ year old child on holiday in this apartment. And we all had a relaxing and very good time in this apartment.
The weather was warm even it was in October.
The apartment was a lovely base for our stay in Mallaga, very clean, new renovated bathroom and kitchen and all the necessary modern equipment you need.
When we arrived Therese & adam were welcoming us even though we arrived around 9 PM, very nice people. There are a supermarket and restaurants close at hand and the location is ideal for taking trips to different attractions.
We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone.
The only small issue we have, is the noice from the road a few hundred meters away.
Thank you for a lovely time.
Owner's Response: Dear Lars & Family
Thank you for your very positive review. The apartment is a good base for lots of sightseeing and also for relaxing by the pools and restaurants. My apologies for the road noise you experienced, unfortunately there was more traffic than usual due to road repair diversions which they tend to do after the summer season.
My thanks again for renting our apartment, it was a pleasure meeting you and hope to see you again soon

Warm regards

Theresa.

Superb apartment

Review Submitted: November 12, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
This apartment is superbly located with sea views and a lovely quiet beach minutes away. Antonio's restaurant was a great place to enjoy a drink or meal whilst we watched our 4 year old playing just yards away on the beach.

The spacious apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipt with a lovely large bed in the main bedroom.

Supermarkets and restaurants are close by, and it is only a short car journey to nearby Fuengirola and Marbella.

We were warmly greeted in person by Theresa and Adam - nothing was too much trouble for them.

The half term weather was perfect which certainly added to the experience.

A DVD player would have been an added bonus, but otherwise we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment to anyone.

SEPT. '09

On arrival at the apartment we were greeted by Adam and Theresa where they kindly gave us a bottle of champagne to welcome us and to wish us a lovely holiday. We thought this was a lovely touch.
Having stayed at many holiday apartments in various locations, this is by far one of the nicest. Everything so clean, spacious, bright and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is wonderful.
The pool area and gardens are lovely, very well kept and the bar staff very friendly and gave us lots of useful local information and tips.
There are a number of very good restaurants and bars within walking distance, our favourite was Max's Beach Bar which is far grander than the name implies, the food is gorgeous and we ended up going there twice the latter being our wedding anniversary, a lovely place to celebrate.
We didn't hire a car but found the buses reliable and cheap, under 2 euros to both Marbella one way and Fuengirola the other.
Adam and Theresa came to see us again as we left and we all agreed that if ever we returned to this area for another holiday we would definately rent this apartment again.
We would reccommend it to anyone.

Thank you Gary, Judy Dave & Ella

Just back from the appartment, this are 6th year now, and the appartment just seems to get better and better, what with the recent updates to the kitchen bathroom etc.
The appartment is always 5 star. All your needs are close at hand.
You are always made very welcome by Adam and Teresa, nothing is too small or too great.
The appartment is very centrel and close to all ammenities, the sea, golfing eating out.
Whether you want to stay on the balcony all day to view the fantastic sea view, sit in the private garden or one of the many pools on the urbanisation, the chose is yours, so much to choose from.
A hire car is not a must as the local shops cater very well, for those who wish to self cater, and are very reasonably priced.
The locat restaurants also cater for all needs whether you want a take away, to a 5 star hotel restaurant meal.
There is lots to see if you want more than a chilled holiday, such as Porta Banus, Marbella, Rohnda village and Mijas or it you want tax free shopping Gabralter.

Just en- joy, Home from Home.

Owner's Response: Hi Chicks
Thank you so much for your lovely, positive review, we really appreciate you taking the time to write it for us. It was great fun meeting you all and thank you for the recommendation, we have got a booking in Sept. from that.
Glad you mentioned the transport from the airport (train & bus) it is very efficient and there is also a carrier service, it's helpful to know of alternative services.

You were all great guests, thank you for looking after the apartment so well.
It would be great to see you all again next year.

Many thanks to Adam and Theresa for providing a wonderfully presented, spacious and spotlessly clean apartment for our holiday in Miraflores. We were greeted with a most welcomed bottle of FIZZ which didnt last long as we drank it from the balcony whilst taking in the wonderfull views. The pool area has well maintained gardens and although we stayed peak season we never had a problem finding room for four sunbeds whatever the time of day.The beach is a stroll over the footbridge of the main road or alternatively under the subway and is both clean and tidy and again never crowded unlike the larger resorts towards Malaga.Miraflores itself is a beautifully managed complex although we thought the immediate vicinity rather tired.Restaurants were ok with many Indian, Mexican,Italian,Thai and Chinese if thats what you want in Spain! Antonios on the beach is worth a visit, the other prime location Maxs Beach we never visited, only got as far as the menu outside, completeley overpriced, but with two teens eating in was no problem with such great kitchen facilities and that spacious balcony and view! Car is not essential as the buses run up and down the coast at regular intervals but it would make it more convenient especially in the heat of the day.Once again a big thanks to Adam and theresa for a lovely holiday.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to write for us a lovely, positive review. So pleased you liked the apartment, yes it is a stunning view and so peaceful sitting on the balcony with a glass of vino! I'm sorry you didn't get to visit Max Beach, it has a wonderful deck at the back, it's just like sitting on the deck of a ship and they have a lovely inexpensive snack menu, maybe next time.
It was a pleasure meeting you all and hope to see you again soon.

best wishes

Our family (2 adults and 3 small children) rented the apartment for two weeks, it was perfect. The apartment is gorgeous and had everything we needed, great views of the sea, plenty of living space. The grounds are really well kept, great pool with the added bonus of a life guard, perfect with small children and easy access to restaurants and supermarkets no need for a car we used the local buses. Owners Theresa & Adam really welcoming and happily assisted us with everything we needed - we would highly recommend this apartment.
