Great accomodation in Nice

James L Ireland
Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We rented this apartment in June 2009. The apartment was excellent.

The management services were good, we were met at the apartment by the agent who was very friendly and helpful.
The location of the apartment could hardly be better being moments from the beach / Promenade des Anglais, restaurants on Rue Massena, and just a short stroll from the centre of Nice - Place Massena.

The apartment itself is comfortable, clean and airy, with very safe secure access. All the usual facilities are provided, and there is a spacious balcony.

I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone intending on staying in Nice. We have stayed in other apartments in Nice, and this apartment complex as part of the Palais de Mediterranee is top quality.

my holiday in Nice

We stayed in the apartment in march this year.
We found the apartment itself nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and well maintained, within a tranquil, beautifully landscaped complex. A calm haven in the centre of the city.
Great central location and easy access to transport. We had a super holiday, definitely going back next year.

Central and practical

Review Submitted: November 5, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
This is a very centrally located apartment within a modern building complex. Because of a controlled entrance, the complex is very safe. It is only a 2-minute walk to the lively promenade and the beach. Pedestrian area is just across the street. Our children felt very comfortable on their own.

There are many restaurants, markets and shops nearby. Main bus and train stations are within a walking distance.

This 1+1 appartment is well equipped and managed, and, comfortable.

We will definitely try to book this appartment if we decide to come to Nice.

This apartment is bright, clean and well equiped. The owner and his French agent could not have been more friendly and helpful. The apartment is well situated close to the beach, the pedestrian precint, and the main shopping area. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Rotten service

Carnegie Perth Scotland
Review Submitted: August 29, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
I rented this apartment for 2 weeks in July.
There was no satellite tv, no ordinary tv and no internet for the whole of my stay. The services were all disconnected before we arrived- a fact which the service provider made known several weeks before our arrival- but no serious effort was made to provide these facilities which we had contracted for - and paid for.
The local agents are unfriendly and very unhelpful and the owner didn't even bother to reply to a letter of complaint sent after our return from holiday.
I would recommend anyone who expects fair treatment and reasonable service to give this one a miss.
Owner's Response: I would like to respond to the negative review from Perth Scotland. Our client was right that the satellite tv and internet connection to the entire apartment complex (132 apartments) had been disconnected due to the business failure of the service provider. It had been disconnected approx 3 days before this client arrived. There was a notice posted in the lobby of the building informing the residence of the impending disconnection. My management agent failed to notice this ( for which I apologized to our client) and so unfortunately I was not made aware of this until I heard from the client on the day of his arrival. My agent contacted several alternative suppliers but none of them could provide a new complete service within less than three weeks. One supplier could have supplied just the internet service within a couple of days but would not have been able to supply satellite tv at all. We now have France Telecom (orange) supplying all of the services, and they have been in opperation since the 6th of August. I had been in contact with our client several time during his stay apologizing for the loss of the internet service etc. My management agent who is a very professional and friendly lady received some unnecessary verbal abuse which did not help the situation. My agent did the best she could under the circumstances. I was happy to hear from our client when speaking to him during his stay that regardless of the internet problems etc he was enjoying his holiday in Nice.
Alex.

Centrally Located Studio

Review Submitted: August 18, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
Karen and Kevin stayed here July 2008 after using the one bedroomed apartment last year. This was a very clean and well maintained studio apartment. Brilliant for the two of us. Very centrally located for beach and the main shopping areas. Gets the sun first thing in the morning on the balcony which has super views. Easily accesible from the airport just a short bus ride away and only 4euros. Brill.
Met at the front door by the management company representative as arranged with a smooth handover and good local knowledge. Great.
