Great holiday at Praia Village

We booked this apartment based on the excellent reviews it had, & we were not disappointed. The apartment is just a short walk, or even shorter drive, from Vilamoura Marina & beaches, so is very conveniently situated. The apartment itself is modern & comfortable, & was spotless upon arrival. It has every facility you would need on a self catering holiday including washing machine & dishwasher. The complex has a really good sized pool, with adjacent children's pool, and plenty of sunloungers for everyone. The gardens & pool are very well maintained & it's a very nice environment to relax in. Vilamoura is the perfect holiday location - short flight, short transfer, fantastic beaches, impressive marina with bars & numerous restaurants, & the resort caters for all ages. It's also very convenient as a base to explore the rest of the Algarve. The UK based owner provides excellent customer service, supported by Karen who lives nearby & both were nothing but helpful before, during & after our visit. I have no hestitation in recommending this property for your stay in Vilamoura.

We booked this apartment based on the reviews on the website and were not disappointed. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable with all the facilities needed for a self-catering holiday.
The complex is very well maintained, with a good size pool (although quite chilly in September!) and location wise is a short walk to the marina in Vilamoura.
We were travelling abroad for the first time with a small baby (5 months) and were quite nervous about this undertaking however the owners made this so much easier by ensuring a travel cot and bedding were available for us. They also arranged transfers to and from the airport and ensured that a rear-facing car seat was available which was a great help as with a small baby it is impossible to travel light!
Vilamoura was an excellent location for a holiday and this apartment is a great base for a holiday whether stayiong local or exploring the Algarve.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Vilamoura.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this apartment. It has everything you need for a great holiday. 10 seconds and you are in the pool....we enjoyed several meals on the patio....10 minute walk to the Marina. We shall recommend this apartment and will definitely return. Thanks to Mark the owner who kept us informed on the booking etc, recommend the organised taxi pickup from and to the airport and thanks to Karen who was waiting at the door with the keys!!! All very efficient - Thank You.

We have now been back in England for a week now (Aug 2009) and we are still wishing we are back in Praia Village.The apartment and complex was perfect, clean etc in every way.
I would recommend this apartment to anybody/any age as long as they dont book before I do.
Mark the owner could not of have been any more helpful and informative throughout, the service he provided was excellent.

Nice week in Vilamoura

We spent one week in this flat. It is a very nice flat. the building complex is very modern, the swimming pool is nice as well. THe flat is spacious, and you have everything you need inside !

We have just returned from our holiday and have one word to describe it - EXCELLENT! The apartment is lovely, well furnished, spacious and modern. Praia Village itself is kept spotlessly clean and is within easy walking distance to the Marina and beach. The services provided by Mark, the owner, were really helpful, as was Karen who was on site most days. The apartment has all the mod cons for your convenience but I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi bath!
We will definately return and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

What a great place to stay

I'm really tempted to tell you that this property is awful (but only to make sure it's available for when we return as we surely will!!) - Seriously this property is fab, it's as described and the grounds are even better than they look in the photo. My wife, our 3 year old son and I had a great week here, the appartment is great and a really good size for a 1 bed with everything you need and with it being on the ground floor meant it was easy to keep an eye on our son running around, the location is quite but is within easy reach of the the beach an marina (both 15 mins walk away) - Mark (the owner) was really really helpful and i'd recommend the welcome pack and the airport transfers (so much food & drink for such a little price) - all in we had a great week and i'm sure we'll soon be back.

We used this apartment in May 2009, although five of us there was plenty of space and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
A clean, modern apartment, we fell at home right away.
Easy access to the beach and marina (pleasant 15 minute walk)
Excellent service provided by owner Mark, and Karen who lives on the complex

Excellent Apartment in Beautiful Complex

I stayed in Praia Village with my in-laws from 21st April - 5th May 2009. My mother and father in law rented this apartment and it was perfect in every way. This was the second year that they have rented the apartment. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable and spacious with all you could ask for (TV, DVD, Satellite TV, Air Con, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave etc.). The apartment is on the ground floor and overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. The complex itself is excellent and is not overcrowded as there are only around 30 apartments. It is about 10-15 mins walk to the beach and Marina and therefore a car is not needed. The owner is very accomodating with regards to rental start and end days. I would highly recommend.
