If you are looking for a place to stay when in Crete away from the hectic tourist areas this is the one.
A house where you easy can stay 3 family’s with your own bathrooms and each room having their own A/C.
The house is beautifully maintained by both gardeners and cleaning service that gives your stay a feeling of living in a hotel.
It is situated a little bit up in the mountain in the midst of olive trees and a lovely smell of wild herbs.

You should of course have your own car and therefore be able to visit new places every day.
You will find the Crete’s most beautiful beaches Elafonisi and Falassarna within an hour drive.
But should you decide to stay in the house during the day that will be just fine as you have a fantastic pool to enjoy.

Clean home in remote area. 15 minute drive to public beach. Beds hard but rooms are clean and light. Good air conditioning. Kitchen well equipped. Need a car for this villa.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa Katarina. Tout était parfaitement conforme à la description. C'est une villa luxueuse, avec une vue superbe sur la mer. La famille Papadakis est très sympathique et règle vite les petits problèmes qui peuvent subvenir. Huile d'olive, vin local, raki et tomates du jardin sont fournis à volonté. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le calme et la localisation de la villa, proche de Chania et de plages magnifiques. Je vous recommande vivement cette villa pour passer un séjour inoubliable en Crête.

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location. We have been to Crete 5 times and this is the only villa we have been happy to book again for next year. The villa has everything you need and more. The location is fantastic, very quiet but a short drive to local amenities. For us this is the perfect villa and we can't wait to get back.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Katerina in the last week of May. The weather was perfect, the beaches easily accessible and safe for small kids.
Manolis was very helpful with taverna recommendations and directions to the best beaches west of Chania.
Would definietly recommend and would love to go back for a extremely relaxing week.

We loved staying here; very friendly owners who were most helpful; we arrived to find fresh oranges, raki and some home made wine all provided. We were offerd a trip on the owner's father's boat but this did not happen as too windy unfortunately

It was a most appealing villa in a quiet village; with beautiful views of mountains and sea not far away. The swimming pool was wonderful and we used it everyday.( a word of caution here: small children do need to be supervised closely as pool close to villa and although it is fenced from road it is not from the villa.

It was tastefully and comfortably fornished with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A car is necessary and we found the one we organized through Manolis was excellent and suggest you do the same. The village is in Spilia in western Crete and is well located for some excellent beaches

• We have just returned from a one-week stay in this villa that far exceeding any of our expectations. Upon arrival we walked onto the property, which looks exactly like the online pictures, and were blown away. Inside the Villa is so well-maintained and comes complete with everything that you would need to recreate a “home-away-from-home”. This was coupled with complete seclusion, a wonderful pool area and spectacular views. The villa itself would have been sufficient enough for a wonderful vacation but we were graced with the kind and helpful ways of the owners. In addition to the welcome pack of fresh fruits, wine, Raki and olive oil, the owners went beyond the required role of hosts, providing advice about where to eat, what to see (and how to get there), accompanying us and making us feel like we actually lived in Crete. We would go further than just recommending this property to our friends, we would require it. Its location in the heart of north-west Crete provides easy access to beautiful sites and beaches (Falassarna, Elafonissi and Balos), while nearby Kolympari and Chania provide everything for food and shopping. If you want a resort town feel, Plantanais is just a fifteen minute drive away. Words cannot adequately express how mind-blowing this experience was.

We have travelled all over Europe and this is one of our
favourite spots to date! The Villa was a true paradise offering all of the amenities of a comfortable and cosy home plus the bonus of having a lovely swimming pool right in the garden! The owners were most helpful and went out of their way to make our stay in Crete an enjoyable one. We were provided with fresh produce and home-baking, what more could you ask for.....oh, did I mention that we were also given a welcoming package upon arrival including home-made wine and fresh olive oil! The location was perfect if you want a true experience of living in a small village. The people were friendly and we felt very safe and secure in the village. We would definitely recommend this villa to our friends and family and to anyone wanting to have a restful holiday in an idealic location surrounded by olive groves. We enjoyed daily walks through the countryside and we took day trips to a variety of places close by. The local restaurants were quite good and we also enjoyed cooking at the villa and going out to local markets to purchase fresh produce and
seafood. This would be a perfect spot for three couples or a family with its three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. The villa has a good-size lot with lots of deck furniture around the deck and also umbrellas for shade if it is required.
