beautiful apartment, great loaction at the port end of town, a stones throw from the front. beautiful marina, nice walk along the paseo maritimo, where the beach was better than at the port end. resort was very spanish, dont laugh.we did need our phrasebook several times as a lot of the restaurants we went to didnt have english speaking staff, but it was all part and parcel of the kind of holiday we expected. took the bus to Cartagena for less than 6 euro return and had a lovely scenic trip thro the mountains to get there, again this was very worthwhile.Cartagena is in the process of being rebuilt, restored and regenerated.we had great food whilst we were in P de M.spanish, french italian and spanish. tapas were our favourites along with restaurants Don Ricardos bar and grill( seafood specialities to die for ), and los ninos terrible( french ), with the most beatiful creme brulee ever .favourite english pub was the harbour grill. nick and mary and the excellent day staff, dan, vikki and the rest of the staff made us very welcome and they do great sarnies and chips, even though we specifically dont usually eat chips on holiday, these were great.we found the prices very reasonable also as we brought more money home than we normally do. that also may have been beacuse we didnt find many shops to buy anything to take home, the odd 'souvenir' shop which wasnt really our taste.all in all a very good holiday and i would recommend the resort and definitely the apartment
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to review the property and Mazarron. I am very aware how important people's holidays are to their wellbeing and family life and want to ensure my guests have a great holiday. It seems you share our love of Mazarron and hope you will return in the future. Anne
