Ideally situated clean & comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of beaches, shops, restaurants & marina.Car hire good for visits to The Sierra Espunas,The Guns of Mazarron & the coastal road through the mountains to the town of Aguilas, beautiful views,& many more places. It was Jan & Rob's third visit to Mazarron,we love the area and the beaches are great.Lisa & Pedro were very helpful and everything we requested was there for us on our arrival, a lovely couple. Thanks to Anne, you made booking your lovely apartment so easy. Wish we were still there, a lovely place for a relaxing holiday.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

A BRILLIANT HOME - FROM - HOME IN A LOVELY RESORT.

Young Pensioners!!! Northern Ireland
Review Submitted: August 30, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
My husband and I have just returned from eight lovely days in this tastefully decorated apartment. All was provided for a wonderful holiday and it is in an excellent central position.
Puerto de Mazarron is a much larger resort than we imagined with great beaches, lots of shops and many restaurants. Our favourites were the Mediterranea (attached to the hotel of the same name) and the Wok (Chinese) but most were pretty good.
We did not hire a car as we wanted to completely chill out (some hope of chilling in the wonderful heat)!! We did really relax and had no need for a car at all as Barry (who did the airport transfers) was great.
Lisa and Pedro were there to meet and greet us when we arrived and they are a lovely couple . They had purchased some groceries for us and when I said we should have ordered ice Pedro went immediately and got us a large bag.
Anne, the owner, arranged all of this for us. We booked the apartment only a very short time before going - and she sorted transfers, groceries, and gave us brilliant information about apartment and area.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone. If you get a chance book it - you will not be sorry!!!
Many thanks Anne for all your help and for the chance to use your lovely 'home in the sun'.

Apartment in El Faro Puerto de Mazarron

Review Submitted: July 26, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We had an excellent holiday in Mazarron. The apartment is modern and well equiped with recently installed air con.
Located in the older , central part of the town, the complex is faily small compared to other sites on the edge of the town making for a pleasant mix of local spanish and tourism. This location also means it is a only few minutes walk to the main town beach, the shops and restaurants and a short drive to the many other sandy bays which make up the resort.
We would certainly recommend both the property and resort to others.

The apartment was as described - new, clean and modern with all the facilities we could have wanted and close to the port and the beach. Everything was easy to use and there were instruction booklets to help us too. We would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay there again. Our meeter/greeter Lisa was also fantastic and very helpful.

Fantastic apartment - dont go anywhere else

We would not hesitate in staying here again, it was like being at home. Absolutely fantastic apartment, fully equipped, the apartment is located in a lovely little park-imagine yourself on the balcony with a glass of wine. Anne, the owner, was very helpful in the months before our holiday, she now feels like a friend. Lisa, who met us at the apartment was very friendly. Now that you have decided to stay there, when you arrive you need to visit the marina and have a meal at La Farola - have the spicy potatoes and breaded shrimp - lovely spanish food, the paella was proper spanish paella, also try The Harbour Grill. Its not cheap but it is lovely food - try the beer battered cod and the choc fudge cake - the only downside is their ham, eggs and chips is a bit disappointing - the ham was like packet ham. If you want to go to a local bar - try the one that is just down the bank from the apartment - cant remember its name but it is a typical bar - very cheap and friendly staff. If you like chinese food, try the wok buffet libre - they actually have 2 restaurants but both are as equally as good as the other, although my favourite was the one opposite the Pasty Shack - in both, you choose your raw food, tell the chef what you want it cooked in and he cooks it in front of you. We did a boat trip on a cattamaran - Adichat 2 - owned by a lovely couple - this is not to be missed.
The area itself is great if you don't like it over touristy - you don't get anyone coming up to you trying to sell soemthing and fi you do they take no for an answer - I would say that this was the best relaxing holiday I have ever had and I would definately go to that area again and in the same apartment.

Now what you waiting for, book it!

we had a lovely peaceful holiday and the appt was excellent and very well equipped with everything that we could possibly want for our stay. We had hired a car at murcia and this enabled us to explore some of the many places of interest in the area . We would certainly have no hesitation in returning to this appt as it is well situated for a pleasant stroll into the new marina and local restaurants.

the appt is very nice and offered us all we wanted as it is ideally situated for all the nearby places to eat and lovely to walk by the marina. we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone for a relaxing holiday. the prices in spain have increased a lot, mainly due to the value of pound versus euro, but you just need to look around and find the better value places to eat. The appt is well furnished and well equiped for families and Lisa who met us showed us round was very helpful .

Excellent apartment, lovely resort...

Review Submitted: February 27, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We really enjoyed both the resort of Puerto de Mazarron and the apartment.

Puerto de Mazarron is a very nice family resort - not too brash and attracting a good mix of nationalities, including Spanish. Lots of restaurants (good quality and not expensive, even with the poor exchange rate) and plenty of shops , as well as lovely beaches and walks, but it's also a very 'manageable' resort - not too big and easy to feel at home in quickly.

The apartment is ideally positioned - literally a minute or two's walk from the main port and marina area and a couple of minutes from the supermarket. Anne's 'Holiday Rentals' description of the apartment and its surroundings is entirely accurate and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the large balcony overlooking the park in the afternoon sun.

Not sure we ever got to grips with all the electronic entertainment equipment you provided, but I'm sure kids would think it's fantastic!

Thank you for a great week!

Excellent apartment in Parque del Faro

Review Submitted: November 18, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
We had a lovely stay in this apartment and for longer than originally booked. The customer service from the owner and her contact in Spain was excellent and they were very accommodating when we asked to stay on a little longer. The apartment is in a good location very close to the harbour. There is a little noise at night normally coming from the local children playing in the park but this didn't worry us and it didn't go on too late anyhow. The apartment was very spacious for a 2 bed and very clean and well equipped, the only suggestion I would like to make if I may is for it to be equipped with a microwave. A necessity when you have a toddler/baby !! I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be right near the marina and restaurants, we certainly enjoyed our stay.
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review the apartment. We will ensure that a microwave is provided from Xmas as well as air con, a baby travel cot and booster chair. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your positive comments which I will pass on to L in Spain.

beautiful apartment, great loaction at the port end of town, a stones throw from the front. beautiful marina, nice walk along the paseo maritimo, where the beach was better than at the port end. resort was very spanish, dont laugh.we did need our phrasebook several times as a lot of the restaurants we went to didnt have english speaking staff, but it was all part and parcel of the kind of holiday we expected. took the bus to Cartagena for less than 6 euro return and had a lovely scenic trip thro the mountains to get there, again this was very worthwhile.Cartagena is in the process of being rebuilt, restored and regenerated.we had great food whilst we were in P de M.spanish, french italian and spanish. tapas were our favourites along with restaurants Don Ricardos bar and grill( seafood specialities to die for ), and los ninos terrible( french ), with the most beatiful creme brulee ever .favourite english pub was the harbour grill. nick and mary and the excellent day staff, dan, vikki and the rest of the staff made us very welcome and they do great sarnies and chips, even though we specifically dont usually eat chips on holiday, these were great.we found the prices very reasonable also as we brought more money home than we normally do. that also may have been beacuse we didnt find many shops to buy anything to take home, the odd 'souvenir' shop which wasnt really our taste.all in all a very good holiday and i would recommend the resort and definitely the apartment
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to review the property and Mazarron. I am very aware how important people's holidays are to their wellbeing and family life and want to ensure my guests have a great holiday. It seems you share our love of Mazarron and hope you will return in the future. Anne
