Reviews of Property: Superb large 2 bedroom top floor apartment in Alvor

We really enjoyed our stay in Michael's apartment. It is comfortable and spacious and its top floor position is probably the best in the complex givng fantastic sea views. It has two large sunny south facing balconies, one with really comfy loungers and the other a lovely table and chairs ideal for breakfast in the sunshine or al fresco lunches! The gated complex with two pools and very attractive gardens is very secure, quiet and extremely well-maintained. The location is excellent - just a couple of minutes walk into Alvor, which has all the shops and restaurants you could possibly want (we particularly enjoyed the Bouganvilla) - and a few minutes walk to the superb beach. We will definately use the apartment again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Superb apartment on a very pleasant complex. Michael's people, Jack & Julie - terrific. I haved stayed in many apartments over many years in both Portugal and Spain. This one tops the lot by miles.

Four of us (2 couples) stayed there for a week. It worked out really well since its a 2 bedroom aopartment, one with en-suite bathroom, and the other bedroom right next to the other bathroom so we had a bathroom each. Both bathrooms are fully fitted with shower/toilet/sink.

A lovely and spacious apartment in probably the best position in the complex: 2nd floor in the center of the block overlooking the pool with views across scrub land out to sea. Its in a secure compound so the grounds and pool area are safe.

The apartment really is as good as it looks in the photo's.

Alvor's main streets for bars and restaurants are only a short walk away, as is the beach.

We would heartily recommend this apartment. Its of the standard of a 5 star hotel for fit and finish. Air con, washing machine and dishwasher all got some use and were very handy. We would definitely book and stay there again.

we were delighted with this beautiful apartment,over the years i have stayed in differant apartments-this was definitely the best! It was everything that Michael had promised and more.after a very eary morning flight ,it was so lovely to be able to go straight in and relax with a cup of tea in the sunshine .And what better way of enjoying the views than from one of the balconies,glass in hand and watch the sun go down.Absolutely perfect!! Can't wait to come again Joyce &co.

This was our 2nd visit to Alvor,August 7-21st,this apartment is ideally situated for all ameneties,close to beach,town and shops.Everything you could possibly need for your holiday is in this apartment,overlooking the pool and with lovely sea views.Alvor is a great place for all ages,loads to do.Our son loved the pool area which is very well looked after and very clean.Would highly recommend this apartment and will definately be booking for another year.

Our stay in Alvor was excellent throughout. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, spacious, overlooking two pools, and ideally located between the beach, a 10 min stroll, and the town, a 2 min walk.
The beach is big, clean and never seemed to be crowded. The town has loads of restaurants and bars but doesn't portray itself as 'touristy'. If you don't feel like eating out, then the apartment has all the facilities for cooking, and perhaps dining on one of the balconies.
The bus service in Alvor is good - if you feel like going to Lagos, Praia da Rocha or Albufeira.
We would recommend the 'Adega' or 'Toscas Morais' restaurants, the 'Black Stove' bar and the solar-powered riverboat trip to Silves. And not forgetting Lionel in the 'Chill Out' bar (50yds from the apartment) with his 1 Euro a pint deal.
We will definitely be back and we have no hesitations in recommending this trip and apartment to any type of holiday-maker.

We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. We have just returned from a great two weeks in Alvor. The apartment itself is so spacious with superb pool and beach views from both balconys - it was great to wake up in the morning and enjoy the view and the sunshine! It's ideally located in Alvor with supermarkets, restaurants, beach & harbour all within easy walking distance. Also, if you like your golf it's got a great location for a number of nearby courses, we managed to play a few. Alvor is a beautiful resort which has still maintained its charm and the restaurants are wonderful. Thanks to Michael and family for everything, it was great to meet you and I've no doubt we will be using your place again!

This place was just perfect. Very spacious,choice of two balconies, immaculately clean, really well equipped - you could cook there every night very easily if you could avoid temptation of all the fab restaurants.

Overlooks the pool and separate kiddies pool. Plenty of loungers and a great pool. There was even a sun umbrella in the apartment - a very thoughtful addition for us fair skinned folks!

The location is brilliant. It is very quiet but you are no more than a 10 minute leisurely stroll from the town, beach and harbour. The town itself is lovely. Really good range of restaurants and bars but the grilled seafood by the harbour is just the best. Although it is mainly couples and families there is a really nice relaxed buzz about the place.

This is by far the best apartment I ever stayed in and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Loved it. Only downside - had to go home! But will be back...
