Rimini also has a number of churches that date from the 12th century onwards – many of which house some interesting works of art - and an enjoyable day or two can be had wandering the streets and stopping off at those of particular interest to yourself.

A Rimini holiday is perhaps best enjoyed during summer months, when temperatures can often exceed 30C and days on the beach are long and lazy. This is far from the only option though, and the entire period from April to October is more than suitable for a stay in the city. Winter temperatures are mild, and prices are slightly cheaper if you visit out of peak season – though many of the marina shops and bars are closed during this period.
