Mar Menor is a water sports haven of the highest quality, lined with fine, golden sand and with waters always around 5˚C warmer than the Mediterranean at any time of year. Many lazy days can be spent happily stretched out on the beaches of Mar Menor, but if you would like to enjoy a little activity or keep children endlessly entertained, the vast array of water sports on offer will be of huge appeal. Sailing, windsurfing and even scuba diving trips thrive in the Mar Menor, and with the Mediterranean so close, deep sea fishing and scuba diving holidays are world class from a privately owned villa in Roda, Spain.

Murcia is blessed with a beautiful climate, with short, mild winters and wonderfully long, hot summers. The period between May and October is the most popular time to visit a self catering Roda villa, as temperatures can be almost guaranteed to peak in the mid 30’s (˚C) on a daily basis, with July and August being especially hot. During the winter, conditions remain ideal for golf in Roda, with very little rain and daily temperatures remaining above 15˚C on most days.
