Also known as Sant Jordi (in Catalan), San Jorge is the epitome of a traditional Spanish village. Golf is popular in the area, and the Panoramica championship Golf Complex is one of the finest local courses in which to partake in the activity that makes the most of the glorious climate. Situated just a few short kilometres from San Jorge, this 18-hole course was designed by Bernhard Langer and runs alongside a chipping & putting green, practice area and driving range, meaning a full day of enjoyment for golf lovers.

With San Jorge situated slightly inland, the nearest beaches are at Vinaros and Benicarlo, both of which are 14km away. It is worth the journey as they both offer unspoilt stretches that remain largely uncrowded, even during the height of summer. The towns themselves have plenty to offer, with Vinaros home to some excellent seafood restaurants.

An abundance of cheap flights can be found here from the UK. Valencia Airport (VLC) is an alternative, and is 160km is the opposite direction. Barcelona Airport (BCN), 200km away, is the third option.
