During the summer months, the crowds can become quite large, but with a wonderful getaway just down the road in San Miniato, it is very easy to ignore the crowds by day.
Weather in San Miniato, Italy
Summer is wonderfully warm in San Miniato, with temperatures averaging 27˚C during July and August. Both spring and autumn are fantastic times to visit, as temperatures are still blissfully warm, yet the sting has been taken out of midday. Crowds have also disappeared by September, and are yet to arrive until June, although if you do not head to the main tourist centres, you won’t see a crowd from a self catering San Miniato property rental at any time of the year.
Cheap flights to San Miniato, Italy
A villa in San Miniato, Italy, is located half way between Florence (FLR) and Pisa (PSA) airports. There are regular flights from the UK to both airports, provided by both the ‘no frills’ airlines and the more luxurious airlines. Taking a hire car from the airport is advised.
