This corner of Ibiza is also renowned for its great restaurants, and despite the serenity of the area, there are still a sufficient amount of shops, supermarkets and other amenities to keep visitors happy. If you wish to head outside of San Vicente, you are within easy reach of other towns and villages, such as popular Santa Eulalia – Ibiza’s third largest resort. You can even drive to the opposite end of the island within an hour.

The nearest village is San Carlos, which is just a ten-minute walk away. San Carlos is home to a famous hippy market, some interesting bars and a great beach. Historic Ibiza Town is within a 30-minute drive, and has a number of shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and an all-round cosmopolitan atmosphere. San Antonio (27km) is the busiest nightspot, and home to some of the world’s largest nightclubs.

The peak tourist season in Ibiza runs from June to September, and it is then that temperatures are at their hottest, averaging 30C every day. Temperatures drop to an average of 14C during winter, but rainfall remains low.
