This is more than enough to enjoy a self-catering holiday, and if you simply want to relax in your holiday rental villa for the duration of your stay, you will have little need to leave the village.

For everyone else, however, the use of a car is almost vital to make the most of your stay in Sanet y Negrals, as many of the local attractions are a few minutes’ drive away. This includes the nearest beaches, which are ten minutes away at Las Marinas and Les Poblets. Although Sanet y Negrals has enough to offer in the way of shopping, a ten-minute (7km) journey will also take you to Ondara, home of the largest shopping centre in the region.

Perhaps the best thing about Sanet y Negrals is its location, as a number of interesting towns and cities are just a short journey away. This includes Denia (15km), which is the home of a castle that dates back to the 11th century and an excellent local history museum. Several of the excellent beaches of the Costa Blanca can be also reached within just an hour’s drive, and the same can be said for busy tourist resorts such as Benidorm (51km) – providing you with a number of options should you decide to escape the relative serenity of Sanet y Negrals.

The weather in the Javea, Moraira and Denia area is nothing short of suburb, making a holiday in Sanet y Negrals even more enjoyable. Alicante Airport (ALC) and Valencia Airport (VLC) can be used for getting to Sanet y Negrals, with both airports around an hour away by car. Alicante generally has the cheaper flights from the UK, with a number of budget operators heading to this destination, particularly during summer months.
