Beaches - Unlike its near neighbour, Tenerife, the beaches close to your La Gomera villa are mainly pebble with some sand. Valle Gran Rey has three beaches. The Charco del Conde’s beach is shallow and offers safe paddling but Playa del Inles is more rugged and dangerous for swimming. It is also a naturist beach.

Boat Trips - Take a trip to San Cristianos on Tenerife for the day with the Fred Olsen ferry line. The town has plenty to do and there is a sandy beach lined with hotels and restaurants along the sea front, or take a trip up Mount Teide, the dormant volcano, in a cable car.

Garajonay - Visit the highest point on the island from your La Gomera Villa. From the car park by Alto de Contadero take the leisurely 20 minute walk to the top for some fantastic island views.
