The annual fair in Montejaque falls between 12th and 15th May each year. The festival is great fun, and although it officially starts at midday, it is not until the Procession of the Virgin Mary starts at 8pm that the festival really starts. The large fairground stays open until late into the evening, with music, dancing and events lasting long into the night.
