Fowey is at the end of Saints Way, a well-marked twenty-six mile footpath running from Padstow to Fowey. Foot ferries cross the river to Polruan and there is a vehicle ferry to Bodinnick. This beautiful area's population swells in the summer months with a vast influx of holiday makers and this is the reason there are many hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast (b&b), camping, establishments and holiday homes in the area.
