The Wirral Country Park is based on the Wirral Way that follows part of the old Birkenhead Railway route. Other attractions in the Wirral include Bidston Hill and Bidston Windmill, Birkenhead Priory, Prenton Park, Leasowe Castle and Leasowe Lighthouse and Port Sunlight.
