If you are a serious surfer then Trevone and the North Coast of Cornwall is for you. If you have never tried surfing, then there is no better place to learn, as there are numerous surfing schools available.

There are many other reasons tourists choose to take a holiday cottage in Trevone apart from surfing and family beach holidays. It has a popular coastal and estuary path for walkers, bird watching and RSPB supervised walks around Trevose Head and the Trevose Golf and Country Club. The Golf club has a choice of golf courses, tennis courts, and swimming pools and kids discos.

Things to do when not surfing in Trevone

You pass by Mother Ivey's cottage and the Padstow lifeboat station situated on the Merope Rocks, past Cats Cove, Trevose and Dinas Head and the blowing hole, on to Constantine Bay to track through the large sand dunes. Weather in Trevone

Trevone's climate is mild with its fair share of rain. Being situated on the North Coast of Cornwall, the wind direction greatly affects how hot or cold it feels more so than the actual temperature. A north wind may be great for surfing, but doesn't always make for comfort when sitting on the beach.
