Summer temperatures reach around 27°C although afternoons and evenings may be tempered by thunderstorms. Flights to Marco Island, USA

Marco Island does have its own small airport, but this is not served by international flights. The easiest way for international visitors to get to their self-catering accommodation is to fly into Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW) and hire a car to drive the hour’s journey along the Interstate to Marco Island. Having a hire car for the rest of the trip does of course also allow visitors to see a little more of the region outside of where their chosen villa is located.
