The province capital of Grosseto can also be reached in under an hour by car, being 61km from Seggiano.

The weather in Seggiano is typical of the majority of Tuscany, with warm to hot summers and mild winters. July and August are understandably the hottest months of the year, but late spring and early autumn are also great times in which to visit, and you will have the added bonus of avoiding the busiest of the tourist periods.

Seggiano can be reached in a number of ways, as there are several airports within relatively close proximity to the village. One of the cheapest options is to book a Ryanair flight from London Stansted to San Egidio Airport (PEG), then make the remaining 108km journey from Perugia by rental car.
